Climate Scientists Expect Ice To Melt In Extreme Cold

Climate scientists expected to find melting ice in extremely cold Antarctica, but discovered that the Ross Ice Shelf was actually growing. And they need more money to study this surprising phenomenon.

Ross Ice Shelf Bore in Antarctica Reveals Freezing Ice, Not Melting, Though More Study Needed

The Ross Ice Shelf has been retreating for hundreds of years, and retreated 30 miles before 1930.  But now scientists see the ice growing.

At the peak of the ice age scare, the National Science Foundation said the Ross Ice Shelf was collapsing, and it had “nothing to do with a warmer climate.”

Climate science has nothing to do with science, and everything to do with fulfilling political expectations of the left.

The biggest factor in climate science:MORE MONEY.

A pretty interressting attitude for people who add absolutely nothing
of value to mankind, except doom&gloom predictions that are so wrong
that their MSM accomplices need to fake videos and try to sell any of the mill hurricane noone gave a crap about 30years ago as apocalyptic catastrophies.

    The cure=LESS MONEY.
Cut 90% of the budget and kick 90% out and let them find real jobs
(or become politicians,as many of the have the mentality of climate scientists)
Keep the 10% with the best track record and pay them for accurate results.

Yeah, climate scientists tell us that warm water flows under the sea ice for miles and miles to melt the underside of the ice shelf.×198.png

What matters it the way they phrase their agenda, not what is really happening, because their minions won’t read that far, and if some do they won’t believe it.

But as the camera passed through the bottom of the hole, it showed the underside of the ice adorned with a glittering layer of flat ice crystals—like a jumble of snowflakes—evidence that in this particular place, sea water is actually freezing onto the base of the ice instead of melting it.

It shows that Southern Ocean water is a wuss. Crying and freezing like a little girl just because the weather is not very nice. That does not happen to tough-as-nails Russian water in the Arctic. Siberian water shakes it off at -40° and attacks the ice like Reggie’s blowtorch to keep the sea route open.

Parts of Arctic Ocean ice free during ice age

“scientists from Norway and the UK showed that 20,000 years ago, winter Arctic sea ice covered more than twice the area that it does today.”

20,000 years ago? middle of the last glacial maximum.
