This colony of artistic ants decorated their home with creosote leaves and blossoms.

The local birds are also decked out in their holiday colors.

Nice to see the birds are having a good time.

Up here in my neck of the Hoosier woods we have a little snow on the ground. During warmer months I keep two seed blocks out for the birds. During the winter I keep my 8 lb. squirrel proof feeder filled along with the two seed blocks. Last winter when there was now cover I would have to refill that 8 lb. feeder and put new seed blocks in the cages every 2 to 2 1/2 days. I suspect this winter will be a lot worse than last so I’ve been stocking up.

Your photography is as good as your research Tony! Maybe it’s my imagination, but I tend to find “climate change” fanatics singularly lacking either in a sense of humour (note correct spelling!) or in some specific talent that compliments their main occupations. But then I rather think it has been ever thus!

Keep up the good ? work!

My impression is that few of them venture outdoors much unless it’s to top up their anxiety levels discussing humanity’s impending doom with like-minded individuals.

I have long believed that most of the so called “environmentalists” are pale faced city slickers that never spent a day and night alone in a wilderness and would be scared shitless if they had to. Couldn’t tell the difference between the tracks of a racoon and a opossum.

Speaking of Holiday decorations; I’m on a team run up to Columbia Falls, ME to pick up a trailer full of wreaths for the ‘Wreaths Across America’s campaign. We’ll take them back to Anderson, IN where another team will take them on to their destination.

What kind of camera do you use?
I know you have mentioned it in the past.
