The Democrat’s House Climate Crisis Committee is holding their first hearing in Boulder this week, because they believe that stoned Boulder residents will be receptive to their message of superstition and junk science.  But even here they are too afraid to let the public speak.

    So, a sermon?

  2. GeologyJim says:

    But of course, Gator

The Original Sin has already been declared, the High Priests are anointed, and the indulgences and tithes are being collected

They don’t need to listen to no plebes

  3. John F. Hultquist says:

What’s to hear if no one is allowed to speak?

    What’s a climate crisis?

Message: We are democrats, so listen to us.

  4. Gamecock says:

    National Climate Crisis ???

Wut? Here in the southeast, we have had the mildest summer in memory. Could have used more rain in July, but otherwise, it has been glorious!

I forget. Does AOC’s green nude eel ban the ski industry too?

  6. arn says:

I would really like to know which climate crisis.

Where it is and where it is not.

A precise definition of when it started(day, month, year)
how it can be proven and verified(outside of “adjusted” data and warming models pretending to be climate models)
What are exactly the bad results of this crisis?
    Famines?Crop failures?Flooding?
Why called noone the dustbowl a climate crisis and why it is worse nowadays?
Why is this crisis always failing to result in a massive increase of sea level rise.
(we have not even reached 3% of the sea level rise Hanson predicted to happen by 2018)
Why is this current climate and how does the perfect climate looked like and when has it existed??We need a reference point?

How can we have a climate crisis when the earth got greener by 5% according to NASA.
Isn’t this the exact opposite of a climate crisis?

How many real victims(no victimhood pros)
    has this crisis caused?

      arn,

I love your posts. And those are GREAT questions!

Unfortunately, climate zombies won’t bother to even read them.

Once I became disillusioned by reality, talking to my [former] friends on this topic, I found that trying to reason with them using actual facts was useless. They were religious believers. No amount of facts would sway them. I thought they would have been thrilled to learn that there is no CO2-caused climate crisis. NOPE.

Instead of being happy to learn the facts prove there is no climate crisis, I became their political enemy, the enemy of their political religion known as “progressivism”, with which I once identified. We now never speak. Sad. So very sad.

Climate Change is about political ideology. It is NOT about science.

What: Legal metrics for a fracking ban to avert a climate crisis.
Why: Their green energy investment plans stymied by cheap clean-burning natural gas.

    • Disillusioned says:

Good catch. Ayup – it’s an open discussion, but ban anyone who disagrees. Sheesh. What hypocrites!

Religious fanatics like that cannot see reality; they are blind to their own blindness. Fanatical apologists who refuse any information, except confirmation of what they believe, are sad, sad nutcases. Hardly hilarious. But I understand what you’re saying.

      Dave N.

Thanks for that link and list, I did not even know half of those websites existed.

And the kicker is that any moderately open minded person, who just lived through the Trump-Russia charade, is more likely than not going to visit some of those Blacklisted websites, as I am now doing.

So, out of sheer stupidity, they just provided a road-map to the very arguments that they don’t want people to see. (facepalm)

Wondering about Timber Towers. Are the figures right? Do you have a take on these?

    • DHR says:

The building is to be wood-clad steel. Not wood alone. The compressive strength of wood, about 6,000 psi, is feeble compared to mild steel, about 21,000 psi, and is insufficient to support tall towers.

  9. Mark Amey says:

This isn’t related, but the Climate Crisis is so bad in Sydney that the Mayor refused to install lighting in the exercise area of Moore Park because of the increase in ‘Carbon Footprint ‘. These lights were specifically requested by female exercisers and were refused by the feminist / green mayor. Irony not lost on the rest of us.

I’d wager that some of those nitwits will wander over to NEON near 38th and Arapahoe and pat themselves on the back for mismanaging that data manipulating train wreck.

  11. Freddy Boom-Boom says:

Anyone going to this one? If so, be there by 7:30 sharp…94 years ago.

  12. May I clear up some misconceptions? This is a great post otherwise, so thank you!
