The Other Side Of The Pond

Sea surface temperatures are well below normal in the western North Atlantic, but the BBC says warm temperatures around the UK are due to the burning of fossil fuels.

“Climate change is causing oceans to warm around the globe and is making marine heatwaves like this one more likely.”

My guess is that UK’s sea carbon capture has cooled down the Oceans.
Considering that the carbon capture process releases way more co2 into the atmosphere than it captures there should be a significant increase in Englands infamous 15 degrees C heatwaves.
Maybe even one or two sunny days during summer.

The Brits call 80F a heatwave cuz Britain, for the most part, is cold & rainy. Heck I have worked where the temp was 95F with 78% humidity…that work was in BOOT CAMP at Ft. Leonard Wood MO. The whole fort is in a huge bowl like depression in the middle of NOWHERE!
The buildings inner roofs were dripping water just like WE drip sweat!

Surface temperature. Don’t go any deeper.

More Spring sunshine hours when the AMO is warm, and the AMO is warm because of the centennial solar minimum. That’s real climate change.

I live in the Midwest. the last time I was in the ocean was in northern New Jersey about 10 years ago. I’m sure many of us have heard of the beautiful sand beaches of New Jersey. we couldn’t wait to get down there and enjoy ourselves. the temperature of the air was nice…. the sand was great…. the water was so cold it probably took me 20 minutes to get used to it. wasn’t even 70°. and that was at the end of July. apparently global warming skipped New Jersey

if you take a close look at the map, on the far right side it shows a little bit of the Mediterranean Sea where Barcelona Spain is… and it shows above average temperatures. I have a daughter who’s a wanna be jet setter …whenever she can put a couple thousand bucks in the bank she’s gone. her and her boyfriend are on their way to Barcelona Spain which is right on the Mediterranean, in southern Spain. they have tickets for sunday’s formula 1 race. I just looked at the 10-day forecast for Barcelona. mostly in the 70s and one or two days might hit 80. and that’s a climate crisis?? for the first day of meteorological summer? what a joke. such a scam. like the late great John Daly from Australia said…. “still waiting for the greenhouse.”

If this is their first formula 1 race.
      Tell them they need earplugs.

      Those cars are very noisy.

I have been to one Indy 500 many years ago and it was incredibly loud.when the cars were driving by… not all the time but when two or three cars were going by it was deafening was definitely!!
