COASTAL BEND — For just the fourth time in the 126 years that the National Weather Service has records, the mercury in Corpus Christi has reached 90 degrees in January.
The other 90-degree January days on record are Jan. 7, 1989 (90 degrees); Jan. 23, 1972 (90) and Jan. 30, 1971 (91).
