Democracy Now!

I was driving across western New York this morning listening to Democracy Now! on the radio.

They said that the Philippines typhoon was the “worst storm in recorded history” and that 60,000 people had flown to Poland to protest oil – which was the cause of the typhoon.

60,000 people? That’s about 150 plane loads. That’s a lot of aeroplane fuel to burn…

  2. darrylb says:

Why do you punish yourself by listening to that stuff?

  3. Bill S says:

    Guys,
Cut the blog host some slack.
Driving across western New York can easily cause a conservative from the old west to have minor psychotic incidents. He misunderstood is all – it was one republican driving an SUV that caused it all. Just like always.

  4. Jason Calley says:

” 60,000 people had flown to Poland to protest oil”

LOL! The irony! These people are full bore crazy. They don’t even play together well.

Couldn’t they have emailed their protest? Or even walked?!

  5. Justa Joe says:

The Poles were protesting against the UN climate con.

  6. Andy Oz says:

90% of Poland’s electricity is generated by coal and the UN climate conference morons say that the coal should be left in the ground and Poland should freeze to death through winter. No wonder Poles are standing up rather than lying down. I’m surprised they didn’t cancel the visas of the Climate morons. Maybe the Poles should turn the power off to the conference centre and the “delegates” hotels and see how they manage. Also no transport for the morons except by windmill. That would be reducing CO2!!

  7. Stephen Richards says:

Not one fact did they get right. 50,000 protesting coal not oil. Poland is a massive coal user and seller.

  8. Phil Jones says:

People in general have no memory of weather history… so in part thats how they get away with this BS… few people know that Sandy wasn’t even a hurricane anymore when it landed..
