Climate experts simply make up technical sounding ad hoc gibberish, and sell it as snake oil to brainless progressives.

In 1988, James Hansen from NASA said the warming trend was 99% certain to be caused by CO2.

A year later, Tom Karl from NOAA said that most of the warming occurred before CO2 started rising. A direct contradiction of what Hansen told Congress.

Hansen’s own 1981 graph showed that temperatures peaked around 1940, and then declined for 40 years. After the PDO shift of 1977, temperatures started to rise again. A direct contradiction of what he told Congress.

Hansen’s claim of 99% certainty to Congress was completely fraudulent. There was no scientific basis for it. He obviously didn’t believe it himself.

Nine years ago, Katherine Hayhoe and the Union of Concerned Scientists predicted much hotter summers, warm winters and less snow for the Northeast. They said the climate of the Northeast would become like the South.

Winter temperatures haven’t changed in the Northeast for 90 years.

Summer temperatures in the Northeast are the same as the were at the end of the 19th century

Hot days in the Northeast have become less frequent over the past century. It has been three years since there was any significant hot weather in the Northeast.

UCSUSA are fraudsters who scare people for money. There isn’t one smidgen of legitimate science behind their climate claims.

Katherine Hayhoe constantly shoots her mouth off about things she understands nothing about. Computer models are not science, they are academic toys not worthy of mention outside of the staff room.

This infrared imagery shows lots of tropical cyclone activity, sucking heat out of the ocean and radiating it off into space at those bright red spots. This year has record cyclone activity in the north Pacific, which means record amounts of heat being removed from the oceans.

In 1989, NOAAs Tom Karl said that most 1881 to 1989 warming occurred before 1919. NOAA now shows cooling during the period 1881 to 1919, and that all of the warming occurred after 1919. The exact opposite of what Karl said in 1989.

Similar story with land only temperatures, with almost all of the warming occurring after 1919.

NOAA has completely erased everything they said in 1989.

In 1989, NOAAs Tom Karl said Earth cooled from 1921 to 1979.

His data now shows half a degree warming during that period.

In 2006, UCSUSA predicted a sharp rise in the number of 90 degree days in Pittsburgh

Uniontown, PA is the closest USHCN station to Pittsburgh, and the number of 90 degree days there has continued its century long decline. UCSUSA cherry-picked a highly misleading start date in the 1960s in order to slime their readers.

As always, climate alarmists are simply making stuff up – with no basis in science or reality.
