NASA just likes changing data.

The unfaithful media have not reported this, despite the many similar cases.

Today, I checked the mean annual temperatures in Chanute, Kansas that begins with 1899, according to NASA.

The GHCN V4 Unadjusted data from NASA website show a clear cooling trend.
However, the GHCN V4 adj – homogenized data show that the station has had a moderate warming trend.

I live close to three of the largest fires in Wyoming and Colorado – which occurred in the Medicine Bow National Forest.  I took this picture there a few days ago, and it is pretty obvious what the problem is.  A century of fire suppression has left a massive fuel load on the ground, which is ready to burn.
