Katharine Hayhoe Permanent Drought Update

Snake oil saleswoman Katharine Hayhoe took advantage of the 2011 drought in Texas to declare herself a climate expert – by blaming it on humans.

Drought – Years Of Living Dangerously

Texas precipitation has been increasing since the 19th century, with the last four years among the wettest on record. Drought risk is decreasing, not increasing as Hayhoe claims.

When confronted with her incompetence, Katharine does what all climate alarmists do, she simply lies about it and claims she got it right.

Endless Summer Update

Thirteen years ago, the New York Times announced the “Endless Summer” and said “It goes hand in hand with polar bears dying in the Arctic as the sea ice shrinks.”

With Warmer Weather, Different Decisions to Make – The New York Times

The Washington Post predicted seven years ago that cherry blossoms would start blooming in January.

Could cherry blossoms one day be blooming in winter? – The Washington Post

January temperatures have been declining in the Northeastern US since the 19th century.

The New York Times cherry-picked a warm year which went against the trend, and declared it to be science.

The percentage of cold January nights has been increasing.

The warmest January in the Northeast was 1932, when the Lake Placid Winter Olympics almost had to be cancelled due to no snow.

The Day The Music Died

Sixty years ago today, Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and The Big Bopper (J. P. Richardson) were killed in a plane crash at Mason City, Iowa.  They chartered the plane because Buddy Holly was tired of sitting on a freezing cold bus. Waylon Jennings was supposed to be on the flight, but got bumped off by The Big Bopper. The last conversation between Buddy Holly and Waylon Jennings was :

Buddy : I hope you freeze your ass off on the bus
Waylon : Well, I hope your ol’ plane crashes

Sixty years ago today was the first day Virginia allowed black children to attend school with white children. And sixty years later they still have a racist Democratic governor.

Gina believes temperatures in the Northeast didn’t used to make large swings, but like almost all members of the climate cult – her beliefs are based on nothing other than superstition and brainwashing.

Pennsylvania Snowflake

Gina thinks climate change is making life too hard in Pennsylvania, because temperatures varied by 58 degrees in January.

So I tested out her theory, and plotted the difference between the highest and lowest Pennsylvania January temperatures going back to 1895.

This year was below average, with a spread of 72 degrees.  Average is 75 degrees, and the largest spread was 104 degrees in January 1914.  On January 14 1914, Ridgway was -24F, and on January 30 1914, Unioniontown was 80 degrees.

Imagine the hysteria if that happened now. People always believe that the climate is changing, and that the current weather is the most extreme. It is a defect in the thought process of many humans.
