Scientists Grant Earth A Reprieve!

Originally 350 PPM CO2 was going to kill us.  Now it is 410 PPM.

That is why they created 350.org, which is now 400.350.org

It doesn’t really matter though, because the UN says global warming killed us 18 years ago.

A senior U.N. environmental official says entire nations could be wiped off the face of the Earth by rising sea levels if the global warming trend is not reversed by the year 2000.

As the warming melts polar icecaps, ocean levels will rise by up to three feet, enough to cover the Maldives and other flat island nations, Brown told The Associated Press in an interview on Wednesday.

Fear not! Our friends on the left have determined they can save children from global warming, by having school teachers murder the children.

How Not To Measure Temperature

I have been showing how summer temperatures have been declining at well sited rural stations. Now I am going to show the exact opposite. The weather station at Fort Collins, Colorado showed a huge jump in temperatures when they started building the CSU Transit Center around the year 2000.

In 1937, the station was located in the middle of a farm.

By 1950, the area was starting to get built up.

By 1969, the city had surrounded the weather station.

Now it is in the middle of a parking lot in the downtown of a large urban area, which has more than tripled in size over the past 60 years.

Nothing Happening In The Arctic

Red shows ice loss over the last two days. Green shows ice gain. Other than winds pushing the ice edge back a little in the Barents Sea, ice extent is not changing.

Over the past week, ice loss has been due to the Sea of Okhotsk melting out and southerly winds in the Eastern Arctic pushing the ice edge back.
