That remark should have disqualified Ehrlich from even being a part of the discussion, but being a liberal, he got a pass.
His comment coincides with a book I am writing relating (among other things) much of the history of climate change science endeavors and eugenics.
About the same time he coauthored, with our current science czar, a book in which he stated that with the current increase in ice in the Antarctic a massuve chunk of ice could break off causing a
a huge tsunami which would kill a million people. Ever the alarmist!!! Some people have an alarming need for recognition (and money).
