Despite all the buzz, how many guns have been actually taken from citizens? When the police come around trying to confiscate your gun, that will be the time to worry. In the meantime, it will never happen. This is all just a feel good PR show on the part of liberals. The difference is that I have been hit by cars on my bicycle several times and have close calls every week, but have never been in any danger from a gun. Almost everyone has been in a car accident.

Provide a link to your stats. In 2009 there were about 5,200 whites that committed murder. Of those about 67% were by firearms, or about 3,500. white muderers using firearms. I do not think all white murders only killed other whites, but assuming this as an average over seven years this is about 24,000, no where near your 46000.
