Obama had it backwards (as always.) The bitter people are the ones who worship the false religion of global warming, and fear guns. The rest of us are having a great time.
When I was driving back to Fort Collins on Tuesday, I stopped on some public lands in sub-zero weather, and fired a few 5.45×39 rifle rounds at a rock about 30 yards away. That broke up an eight hour drive – and was great fun.
Yo Steven , a word to the wise . Ricochets can be deadly . I know of a young man killed instantly by a bullet comeing straight back at him . If you ever have the opportunity to fire tracers and you shoot at rocks you will be amazed at the varied directions the ricochets go . I only shoot into dirt or wood now and recommend you do the same . Not being a downer or spoilsport as I love to shoot also . To me few things are more satisfying than to accurately hit targets at great distances , and I’m contiually practiceing to shoot game animals with one shot kills at long distances . My wife is an even better shot than I am , it’s the vision quality that makes the difference once you have a good technique .
It was a small porous volcanic rock. The rock fragmented on impact. No chance of a dangerous ricochet at that distance. I did have a .22 fragment hit my hand once on a ricochet at about ten yards.
You ROCK murderer! 😉
He’s a stone-cold killer!
I believe the correct description is a cold, stone killer.
Perhaps Steve should shoot some stupid turnips, not much chance of a ricochet from them. Now I mean turnips.
Don’t shoot the Swedes.
