Boys Love Weapons

The left has spent decades working to emasculate boys and turn them into little girls, which is likely a reason for so many psychotic teenage boys. Through most of history, people didn’t have grocery stores, so the men would either kill – or their families would die. Obama might try to talk a mammoth into dying, and it just might work.

One mistake being made by the gun lobby is alienating gamers by blaming video games for Sandy Hook. Video games don’t cause mental illness, but gamers are huge fans of guns. The NRA should enlist gamers as allies, not try to alienate them.

A coworker of mine has an elderly mother who lives in an apartment in California. She has an insane neighbor that has repeatedly threatened residents there, and recently put a hammer through her window. The police have been called over 30 times, and the man has been in the process of eviction for weeks. When the police picked him up this last time, there was no bed available to keep him, and he was placed back out on the street, back in his apartment. How many times have we heard stories like this right before a homicide occurs? How many warnings should we ignore?

We need to lock these people up, like we used to in the good ole days.

Steven, agree with your comment on gamers. Most are really good guys and /or gals. i’ve been gaming since the Commadore 64 days. Alas, our hero, and he is a hero to me, Ronald Reagan shut down the California hospitals for the mentally ill. Never understood that.

I agree whole heartedly. By getting the gamer involved in the NRA they’ll learn the truth about weapons, and the discipline demanded of them by the use and ownership of a gun. If they go out on a hunt they’ll see and experience the reality of trying to kill an animal with a real lethal weapon instead of a virtual one, and hopefully have a better respect for life.

ALL the countries above America have 100% gun bans

Sundance , thank you for the interesting comment

    • Cosmos says:

Canada is below the USA. It doesn’t have a 100% gun ban. Niether do a lot of the other countries below the USA. Please don’t exaggerate.

      • Most of the murders in the US are performed by blacks in inner cities with illegal weapons. Be grateful you don’t have that problem in Canada. Where I live things are extremely safe.

      • hell_is_like_newark says:

Cosmos: Back in the 90’s there was a study that compared an area of the Northwest USA with Canada. Handgun Control Inc. and other anti-self defense groups touted the study as showing that with Canada’s much stricter restrictions on handguns, Canada had a lower murder rate.

However, when the study was broken out by demographics… comparing a white, middle class neighborhood in the USA with the same in Canada, the results were a bit different. Murder rates were basically equal. However, the US suburb had a much lower rate of property crime. In particular, home invasion (when the homeowners were home).

The vast majority of felonies, in particular violent crime, is committed by a small percentage of the population. This subset is largely covered by black males between 15 and 40 with non-white Hispanics coming up second. We don’t have a gun problem, we have a gang / thug problem. However, in the current political environment, you cannot openly discuss the plainly obvious. It is so bad, it is normal for the papers here on their crime blotters to delete any reference to the race of the perps when giving out their description.

Btw: Black crime rates were always higher in the USA than Caucasian and Asian (Chinese, Korean, Japanese). However, they didn’t reach the catastrophic rates until the start of the 1960’s. 1930’s Harlem, NYC in the middle of the depression was a pretty quiet place. By the 1980’s it was a no-go zone.

        Why I need an AR-15…

“Gang activity has been directly linked to the narcotics trade, human trafficking, identification document falsification, violent maiming and assault, and the use of firearms to commit deadly shootings. The Department of Justice estimates that there are over 25,000 gangs operating in the U.S. today. In total, those gangs are made up of 850,000 gang members, which would comprise the sixth largest military in the world in terms of size. According to the FBI, one-third of all gang-related homicides are committed by individuals under the age of 18.”

There are no troops deployed to protect me from this lawless guerilla force, the 6th largest army in the world, and they hunt in packs. Much as I love my 12 ga, it is not sufficient to hold off multiple well armed attackers intent on entering my home.

Steven, I only partly agree about the Gamers, I am one, but some youngsters do seem to become divorced from reality regards killing people in the games. I can see how that could lead to them killing real people without normal human compunction.

    • gator69 says:

I have to agree. It is one thing to have an adult ‘play’ with violent games, after a lifetime of being taught not to cause pain and human suffering. It is another to have these simulators out there conditioning formative brains, with no adult supervision. Especially in cultures that promote crime, violence and thuggery. It is not the games, it is the application and lack of balance in some kids lives.

I stand by the statement that you cannot fix these issues by attacking hardware or software, we must fix our society, and weed out the violent people.

      • LLAP says:

@Gator: “we must fix our society, and weed out the violent people.”

Amen to that! We can start by defending the traditional nuclear family.
