John Brady was paralyzed by a .22 short bullet fired from a tiny handheld revolver when President Reagan was attacked by Denver nutcase John Hinckley. (Denver is full of psychotic nutcases and is heavily Democratic.)
The Brady campaign wants to ban semi-automatic rifles, which kill less than half as many people a year as hammers and clubs. They want to make sure that honest Americans are no match for the Mexican drug cartels which the Obama White House ships hundreds of rifles to.
And the vast majority of those killed with those kinds of weapons are drug gang related. Owned illegally by people who’s way of live is illegal.
