The simplest form of background check, and arguably the most effective, would be to exclude black democrat voters. For this would also eliminate a large portion of the substance abusers and the psychologically impaired. It obviously wouldn’t eliminate the problem altogether but it would certainly bring it back to manageable proportions.
But having said that, I am still having difficulty with the whole notion of treating the killing of one black drug dealer, by another black drug dealer, as a problem that we need to fix at all. For such an outcome must surely constitute a substantial “public good”, even for the black community in which it takes place. I am not a religious man but it seems that the Lord does, indeed, move in mysterious ways.
I have more difficulty with the innocent collateral damage, which is never a public good.
I wonder if there are any stats on the proportion of innocent bystanders shot in drug on drug shootings? These are obviously not a ‘public good’ and every one of them is regretable. But is the ratio 1 in 10, 1 in 100, or 1 in 1000?
I saw some studies that showed if you take black-on-black murders out of the statistics, the good ol USofA is one of the safest countries in the world. Please forgive me my racism…

DOJ stats showed one race to be 50 times more likely to commit a violent crime, than whites. The DOJ must be racist.
