He’s like the Met Office. It always turns out to be the opposite of what’s said!
What he means is that he will make it so expensive and onerous for law abiding citizens to own one that they cannot afford to take a risk for being accused of breaking one of the thousands of laws.
I’m trying to visualize Obama showing up at a gun owners door and telling them to give him their guns.
That would be my preferred way to meet the scumbag in chief.
Obama won’t. It will be some cop that makes an arrest on a technicality like what happened to the guy in DC who had secured his 15 round clips (legal in his town) in a locked gun safe in the trunk and spent a year and who knows how much money, time off, etc to clear his name. That is what these laws are for – to use as harassment. A two mile gun free zone around a school is nothing more than another law to harass someone with a conceal weapon license. But I am sending money to the NRA and will start to fund organizations like this rather than politicians!

This is who you get when you have a dumbed down population kept uninformed and uneducated by a dumbed down media.
If a dozen scientific bodies of excellence did their supposed jobs, the whole gig would be up. Not only did the unthinking fall for the global warming scam but a critical mass of skeptics played right along into the stereotype of thousand word rants full of obscure equations and bizarre graphs, actively ignoring simple single site thermometer and tide gauge records that alone fully falsified claims that warming and sea level were suddenly breaking out of their historical trend lines. Add in the creationists and the usual uber righteous anti-abortion crowd, basically the obsolete faction of the religious right and no wonder it is so easy to defeat skepticism at the ballet box when single women stand up for their natural right to carry out their role as mothers in ways that hundreds of millions of years of evolution has programmed them to do, in tooth and claw.

The real catastrophe facing the US is not money wasted on imaginary problems, but the fact that potentially catastrophic economic issues are either being ignored or interpreted backwards. Put people in power who have no idea what they are doing, e.g., Bush and Obama, and you have the ingredients for a perfect storm.

I must have got my PhD in chemistry out of a corn flakes box then, since to my eye the data says CAGW is precluded.
I’m always happy to discuss this with any consensus supporters but for some reason they run away and hide every time I suggest it. Puzzling.
How many guns has Obama taken away from people? Talking about it is cheap, but actually doing something is another story.
Obama is a criminal pyschopath. It was obvious from the moment he stepped on the political stage, and his globalist banker buddies decided to put him in control. Make no mistake: Gun confiscation will be the final nail in the coffin of this once-great republic. Americans better wake up soon, before they wake up in a prison.
