   After Washington, D.C. banned guns:

   “The gun ban had an unintended effect: It emboldened criminals because they knew that law-abiding District residents were unarmed and powerless to defend themselves. Violent crime increased after the law was enacted, with homicides rising to 369 in 1988, from 188 in 1976 when the ban started. By 1993, annual homicides had reached 454.”

     Also, “Since the gun ban was struck down, murders in the District have steadily gone down, from 186 in 2008 to 88 in 2012, the lowest number since the law was enacted in 1976. The decline resulted from a variety of factors, but losing the gun ban certainly did not produce the rise in murders that many might have expected.”

   The lefty lawmakers could really save a lot of lives by banning the flu.
   That would be an easy and straightforward bill to write.
   Although fewer sick people would cause layoffs in the medical field.
   That must be the reason they haven’t done it… to save jobs.

   That is no small point, it’s been the critical central point of a 3-point mantra that was consolidated back in late 1995 to support the faltering idea of AGW: “Global warming science is settled” / “skeptic scientists are corrupted by ‘big coal & oil’ funding” / “reporters can’t give equal time to skeptics because of those first two points”.

   I can’t emphasize this enough. Wipe out that central point in the most public way possible, and AGW is revealed as nothing more than a ponzi scheme supported by constant infusions of false information about its science claims and constant marginalization of its critics that may very well be libel/slander. And this wipeout exposes other liberal agendas in no less than a similar way, enslavement to marginalizing critics rather than the merits of the agendas actually being able to stand on their own. Health care, gun control, you name it.

   Things may appear hopeless at the moment, but this all looks to me like the collective far-left ideologies are about to collapse in the most epic manner possible. They are overplaying their hand and they don’t know when to stop.

   It’s all moot… I have the constitutionally guaranteed right to keep and bear arms (ANY arms I so choose) and it shall not be infringed … that means by anyone!
