Temperatures have been declining in Nebraska, and 2012 was cooler than 1936, 1934 and 1921. Strike one.
2012 saw half as many high temperature records as 1934, and placed fourth after 1936 and 1939. Strike two.
Precipitation has been increasing over time, but 2012 was the driest on record in Nebraska. McKitten actually got one right!
