According to NOAA historical records – July, 1936 was much hotter than July 2012. Why is NOAA saying now that 2012 was hotter?

July 2012 didn’t even crack the top ten for number of July all-time daily record maximums. There were five times as many daily maximum temperature records in July, 1936 as there were in 2012

  1. Andy DC says:

Huge area of +10 anomaly in 1936. None at all in 2012. Then they have the nerve to say 2012 was hotter.

  2. scizzorbill says:

The AGW agenda pushers do not use facts. They lie to advance the agenda; then disseminate it thru the Gov audio visual dept. known as the main stream media. The sheeple who don’t bother to investigate anything swallow it whole without question.

  3. The min temps were warmer but the max temps were not. This is a UHI phenomenon usually.
