Our modern culture needs abundant and cheap power to produce the goods and services that allows the world to function. Pass “no carbon” rules if you wish, but then go straight for the jugular with all out nuclear power development. Nothing else other than water power will reliably replace fossil fuels. Oil is actually a good fuel, our bodies run on fats and oils just dandily.
God figured out how life operates on oils, and how the sun keeps us warm with nuclear power, and that’s good enough for me.

Refusing to understand that the human population consists of at least 90 physiological, neurological and many varying traits is the downfall of societies.
