Obama Thinks The Second Amendment Is About Hunting

Barack Obama: ‘I go shooting all the time’

ROFLMAO

Asked in a magazine interview whether he had ever fired a gun, Mr Obama said he did so with guests at the president’s rural retreat.

“Up at Camp David, we do skeet shooting all the time,” he said. “And I have a profound respect for the traditions of hunting that trace back in this country for generations.

“And I think those who dismiss that out of hand make a big mistake”.

Not “out of hand”, we just always know that you are lying about everything.

Mr Obama’s plans for tighter firearms regulations were drawn up by Joe Biden, his vice-president, following the massacre of 26 people, including 20 young pupils at a primary school in Connecticut last month.

Barack Obama: ‘I go shooting all the time’ – Telegraph

Only an idiot Constitutional scholar would think that the second amendment has anything to do with hunting.

A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

Please realize that you really need to study the beast and learn him well before you go hunting for him! Some have done their research and it isn’t the conservatives…
On the other hand, half-ass work is accomplished when you know you’ve got the media on your side; lock, stock & barrel. Their end game may end up badly due to massive miscalculations.

    • The blatancy (and omnipresence in his every utterance, as Steven Goddard well emphasized above) of Obama’s lies is certainly due to his personal incompetence, which derives largely from the incompetence of his ideology (to all of whose promulgators I have given the historic name, “The Insane Left”)–an ideology with which the American people (even those who voted for Obama) are at war now (though half of them don’t know it, because they are among the insane).

To think New York refused to ratify unless a bill of rights was amended…their suggestion included:

    That the People have a right to keep and bear Arms; that a well regulated Militia, including the body of the People capable of bearing Arms, is the proper, natural and safe defence of a free State;

    • Blindingly obvious common sense, on the part of the “founding fathers” (and every sane generation of Americans), that the Insane Left would throw out in a moment. And it’s hard to tell who is worse, Obama with his incessant, aggressive misdirection and lies, or the mainstream media that basically just broadcast “Hallelujah!” in response.

No Obama, but it is about the Battle of Athens.

Is the solution to the problem then to organise those who wish to bear arms into a well regulated militia?

    • Look for a visit from DHS at your pub, for suggesting that the US follow the Constitution

Biden’s Google live piece might be considered classic comedy.

How else does one define the Vice President of the United States, and an attorney by training, stating that there is no reason for anyone to own a military style weapon and that the 2nd Admendment was to allow people to personally protect themselves (with shotguns) and for hunters?

Guess Joe borrowed a paper for his American history class. Had he not skipped his classes he may have learned that the purpose of the second amendment was to prevent the government from having a monoply of force. And that the event which sparked armed revolt against the Crown was the decision to send troops out to size weapons and powder held by the militia. For Joe, Concord is a grape.

I will at least give him credit for acknowledging that the 2nd Amendment is an individual right.

I’ve heard that journalists cannot find a single photo of Barry with a gun. I would do a Google image search myself, but am not thrilled with the prospect of a Secret Service visit. 😉
