The climate witch-burning community (NASA, NOAA, McKibben, Romm, etc.) has failed to produce any evidence of actual climate change or global warming, so they have adopted a new strategy.
They focus on every weather event, declare it to be the worst ever, and ignore every place else in the world. The Northern Hemisphere has been experiencing record snow cover, so they focus on a lack of snow in Chicago (which is about to get a blizzard.) The Greenland Ice Sheet has a couple of hours above freezing, and they declare it to be a meltdown.

Unfortunately, global warming has become a left wing propaganda tool, a rather effective one at that, with constant bombardment from left wing puppets in the media and brainwashing going on in the schools.
Since a kid has only a short memory of weather events in his life, it isn’t hard to persuade the kid that weather now is much worse now than in the past. Also bad weather being a result of greedy, mean spirited, bigoted, straight white Republican males and the evil capitalist system.
Criminal? Probably. Insane? Perhaps. Evil pricks using the global warming scam for money and power? Yes.
Sorry, but they are NOT evil pricks per se. They are deluded–brainwashed (by the incompetent climate “experts” and by their political ideology)–and therefore insane, in their determined avoidance of the easily determined truth.
Next to the threat posed to our freedom by the gun-control zealots, the environmental extremists and Warmist True Believers probably constitute the next greatest danger to humanity, the market economy and western civilization. With enough time, carbon tax money and government controls, they will take us back to the dark ages when mankind was “one with nature” and each day was a battle for survival against the vicisisitudes of Mother Nature.

This is why I don’t take any of their claims seriously any more. When they moved to complete nonsense claims, they lost me.
But Will, a good chunk of the public do take these claims seriously. I don’t either but never let pass a chance to educate someone to reality.
