No assault rifles were used in the murder of 50 million children in the US, but Obama insists that your tax money is used to finance this genocide.

The top picture is so touching. That baby is comfortable, asleep, and safe in the hands of someone who loves her. It brings tears to my eyes to realize that she is dead, killed with the blessings of people that have a different version of t=0 than I do. 🙁

Abortion is sad , sick and disgusting . I think anyone getting an abortion should also be sterilized so it can’t happen again . Hey , it’s only murder if the government says so , right ?

  3. johnmcguire says:

God can and will forgive you for murder , but only if you repent .

    Democide

Is there a better example of the sickness of liberalism? That they believe this is a ‘right’. And that I should be forced to help pay for it. Fairly stunning that there has been no civil war over this.

Go to war with women? End up with Obama!

      • leftinbrooklyn says:

50 million abortion deaths has got to equal at least 25 million deaths of women. At the hand of their own mothers. The deadliest war ever against women is raging daily.

        Scuba gear 🙂

      • NikFromNYC says:

Mother tigers eat their cubs to thin the herd. Outlaw abortion successfully and the black (and white trash) population will explode in Western civilization, leading to…permanent Democratic majorities who will legalize abortion anyway. There is always an ironic backlash effect when actors on the ground suffer dictates from on high from those who brandish machine guns.

      • Andy DC says:

Nik has a point. Would you want to pay for all the welfare, all the heathcare and all the prison and institutional care for 50 million unwanted children? Abortion is horrible but the alternative is worse for society as a whole.

      • They wouldn’t get pregnant if they knew they couldn’t legally murder their child later.

“They wouldn’t get pregnant if they knew they couldn’t legally murder their child later.”

        On Unicorn Island.

This is a point I hate to concede, but it may be true, and I construct my world using facts. The argument presented is intriguing and worth considering, but it does not change my overall opinion.

      • leftinbrooklyn says:

It wouldn’t be 50 million unwanted children. Making abortion murder would reduce the number significantly. Repeal the current ban on murder, and how high would our murder rate be? Double? Triple? Ten-fold? Probably higher than our abortion rate.

Add to that how many carried to birth, wouldn’t necessarily end up ‘unwanted’, and/or a burden on us?

But really, not of that matters. No murder victim wants to be one. Even those unlucky enough to still be unable to speak for themselves.

    • leftinbrooklyn says:

Yes. Like there’s not many responsible, readily-available ways to keep that life from forming. Every murder, within the womb or not, begins with a rejection of personal responsibility.

  6. Robert Austin says:

If you are a male of the species, your opinion on abortion are worthless since you will never be put in the position of pregnancy and bearing a child. Every abortion is a tragedy at some level but let us leave it to women to decide. And not every moral issue requires a legislated solution.

    • gator69 says:

“If you are a male of the species, your opinion on abortion are worthless…”

The value of an opinion is determined in each mind, on an individual basis, just as beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Should we have left it to slave owners to figure out the rights of blacks?

        xxxxxxxx

        🙂

      • Robert Austin says:

Well, I assume that you (gator69) are a male. Can you “walk a mile in the shoes” of a pregnant woman? No. So while you personally may value your opinion on abortion, I do not for the reason stated and I try not to inflict my abortion views on others, especially on women, in this matter. About fifty percent of the populace are female so they should be able to form a consensus, one way or another.

      • Some of us believe that the end does not justify the means.

      • gator69 says:

So only women have the right to defend this innocent life, because they “own” it?

In that light it seems that we wronged the slave owners.

      • leftinbrooklyn says:

‘Can you “walk a mile in the shoes” of a pregnant woman? Yep, so convenient to leave the person with the most to lose, out of the equation. It’s the only way those pro-abortion can look at it, of course. Otherwise they’d have to face what they were doing.

I bet if they could, those that are being killed would certainly express their opinion. Probably pretty clear they’d like a chance at this whole ‘life’ thing. And that opinion probably should be ranked pretty high in priority.

I guess it’s easy to punish those with no say in the matter for that dang evolution that decided that women should bear the most burden for the earliest part of their lives. The
defenseless are always easiest to target, in any situation.

    • leftinbrooklyn says:

So, I may not choose to take human life, but a woman may because evolution has designed the earliest stage of that life to be within her body. That argument supports my right to take a newborn life because I don’t wish to ‘carry it’ then ( be responsible for it, or compete with it.) Like the tiger reference above.

Destruction of human life is just that. At whatever stage of development.
