Politicians on both sides of the aisle want to control your life through fear, by getting you to obsess about stupid shit which has no impact on your life – like CO2 or semi-automatic rifles.
Any time you ride in a car, you are never more than 18 inches away from a violent death. You are surrounded by billions of micro-organisms which can kill you at any time. When it is your time to go, you are going to go.
But as long as you here, you might as well enjoy life. Turn off your television, and stop allowing parasitic scumbags into the White House and Congress.

Seth Borenstein, Algore, Hansen, McKibben, et al missed their callings. They should have all become Roman Catholic “Priests” able to decide who attains to Heaven or Hell, based upon who’s made the necessary sacrifices of losing homes, businesses or buying their carbon credits. Hopefully, they would have done so without tagging a little boy or two. There are few Martin Luthers left.
Not to mention, dual planetary rifts, category IX volcanic eruptions, incoming meteors, tsunami’s, X9 class solar impacts (all transformers toasted) and the many other natural hazards.
But Steve, if we could but save one child’s life…
…find that child and put him on ice (safe, that is), so the rest of us can live our lives with our inalienable rights intact.
