Dancing On The Graves Of The Dead

Many people died in the Philippines this week in a storm, which is cynically and quite expectedly being used to push the global warming agenda.

It is important that the remaining seven billion people on Earth don’t suffer loss of cheap energy, economic prosperity and freedom as a result of unscrupulous snake oil salesmen taking advantage of the good nature of decent people.

Excellent little video from a Ben Shapiro talk on how to debate liberals at Breit Bart: http://www.breitbart.com/Breitbart-TV/2013/11/09/Ben-Shapiro-on-winning-debates-with-liberals

I refuse to let my anger at the God-awful hype going on to stop me from sending money to help these people. The modern news media is so full of people who don’t bother to check facts, even at Fox News, its a wonder any truth gets out at all.

My sister-in-law and her sisters are from the island that was struck by the typhoon. They are from a very poor fishing village on the north side of the island. Last year they built a house there for their family that remains there. It is a one room concrete block house with a concrete floor and even windows. (the only such structure in the village)

The house provided shelter to many of the villagers and suffered only a lost of a rain gutter. The whole village survived without loss of life.

When you have family involved you want to know the truth no matter what it is — not politically motivated hype like “195 mph” sustained winds when it was 146 mph.

God help me; I hate the warmest liars.

Glad to hear the news. The same thing happened with my inlaws in 1970; their house was the only structure left standing.

During December 1944, a similar typhoon stuck the US Fleet in Pacific, claiming 790 lives. The moviie “Caine Mutiny” was based on that typhoon. Disasters happen! Weather happens! This attempt to blame every weather disaster on global warming is disgusting and fraudulent, Yet presumably intelligent people believe this drivel!
