Secretary of State John Kerry said during a hearing Wednesday in the House of Representatives that counties in the Arab world have offered to foot the entire bill for a U.S. military mission that destroys the Bashar al-Assad regime in Syria.
‘With respect to Arab countries offering to bear costs and to assist, the answer is profoundly yes,’ Kerry said. ‘They have. That offer is on the table.’
Just in case you forgot for a minute that almost every person in the Obama administration is a complete moron.
Just like Bush and crew said before invading Iraq. Now anyone who suggests that Iraq pay us back is banned from entering Iraq. Plus they want to charge us billions for taking down blast walls and fixing things we broke. Estimates of the final bill are in the trillions, all paid for by USA.
Bush never said the entire war effort would be footed by Arab states.

Can’t remember where I read…. that Qatar and Saudi Arabia wanted to run pipelines thru Syria, but Assad cut an exclusive deal with Putin to let only Gasprom run a pipeline. So Putin wants to defend Assad and the other two want him out, replaced with someone of their choosing.
