   The global warming consensus will be further undone by record cold over much of the US and Canada over the next several days. By next Monday, a lot of people will be praying for global warming!

   Believe it or not, all these were included in the fraudster’s 97%

     Tennessee has a cellulose fuel plant that is supposed to produce 200,000 gallon a year. The initial costs were $7.00 per gallon and farmers have dedicated 7,000 acres of land to growing switchgrass, land that could grow food, not fuel. The kicker is the plant is COAL-FIRED and with a 100 million spent on this plant, I don’t see the any benefit except to pay homage to the green gods.

     Dupont is making out like a bandit with all the tax money flowing in to the project. Just like the Ozone scam, Dupont is always there reaping the crop of cash. Who knows if the plant will ever see commercial production.

       Tennessee got screwed, Dupont spent the money. 2.5 million worth of switchgrass just sitting there and apparently Dupont is just using this as a testing facility and they aren’t going to use switchgrass but corn stover. Farmers who committed acreage to switchgrass are out of luck and taxpayers of Tenn are out millions. This is a classic example of crony capitalism. 5 years from the start and still nothing.

         I believe we had one of these in Alberta just south of Calgary in the 90’s and it came off the rails as the switch was attempted from lab to commercial scale operation. However given the failure one has to think the lab work was fudged thus no cost reductions were there when the process was scaled up. Lots of work for the schemers and dreamers and a drain on the taxpayer.
