  1. He was always hanging out with that notorious right-wing lunatic Republican governor of California. What was that guy’s name? Jerry Brown?

Sure he would have used the A-bomb if he would have had one. He had nothing to lose.

As you well know I have been trying to hammer that into the heads of a lot of people. Although I had not seen that particular website before.

      Food for thought –

It is obvious that Socialism does not work as an economic system. As Fabian George Bernard Shaw so brilliantly summarized it up.

“A government that robs Peter to pay Paul can always depend on the support of Paul.”

Yet when you delve further you find Shaw said:

“The moment we face it frankly we are driven to the conclusion that the community has a right to put a price on the right to live in it … If people are fit to live, let them live under decent human conditions. If they are not fit to live, kill them in a decent human way. Is it any wonder that some of us are driven to prescribe the lethal chamber as the solution for the hard cases which are at present made the excuse for dragging all the other cases down to their level, and the only solution that will create a sense of full social responsibility in modern populations?”

Source: George Bernard Shaw, Prefaces (London: Constable and Co., 1934), p. 296.

So robbing Peter to pay Paul is only a method for gaining power and has nothing what ever to do with what is best for either Peter or Paul. Actually both are worse off so it is a terrible method of governing.

T he Fabian Society was founded the year of Marx’s death to promote his ideas
“…The Fabian Society is a socialist intellectual movement founded in Britain in 1884. The goal of the society was to advance a gradualist variety socialism by slowly reforming capitalism rather than through revolutionary Marxism. In the twentieth century, the society’s members included the philosopher Bertrand Russel, and the economist John Maynard Keynes, who’s theories now generally guide the world economy.

Fabian George Bernard Shaw, the playwright, stated, “We urged our members to join the Liberal and Radical Associations in their district, or, if they preferred it, the Conservative Associations – we permeated the party organizations and pulled all the strings we could lay our hands on with the utmost adroitness and energy, and we succeeded so well that in 1888 we gained the solid advantage of a Progressive majority full of ideas that would never have come into their heads had not the Fabians put them there.”….” (See coat of arms link)

However, since the Fabian Coat of Arms is a wolf in a sheepskin, I often wonder if the whole idea of ‘Socialism’ and ‘Marxism’ was an invention of the elite to grab back the control they saw slipping away to the middle class as the industrial revolution progressed. Remember Marx did not take aim at the elite but at the “Bourgeoisie” Bourgeoisie is a French word “…originally denoted the wealthy stratum of the middle class that originated during the latter part of the Middle Ages (AD 500–1500)….” (WIKI)

Listen to what wealthy socialist Maurice Strong has to say:
“:“It is clear that current lifestyles and consumption patterns of the affluent middle class, involving high meat intake, consumption of large amounts of frozen and convenience foods, use of fossil fuels, appliances, home and work place air conditioning, and suburban housing are not sustainable. – 1992 @ Kyoto in his opening remarks.

Or the socialist Pascal Lamy former Director-General of the World Trade Organization. (He was a European Union Trade Commissioner and has been tapped for the next head of the European Union’s executive arm)

“Can we balance the need for a sustainable planet with the need to provide billions with decent living standards? Can we do that without questioning radically the Western way of life?” – June 8, 2011 Whither Globalization?

“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.” Matthew 7:13-27 (KJV) certainly sums them up!
