Australia brings in a carbon tax in 2012 and you guys get record freezing temperatures.
What are allies for but to look out for each other.
We are repealing the tax in April, so your weather will begin to warm up about then.

  2. Andy DC says:

Cold and snow were supposed to be a thing of the past by 2000. What happened?

  3. slimething says:

I live in Michigan and yes it has been colder than I can recall.

Propane is spiraling out of sight I’ve heard; good thing we went geothermal in 2010.

  4. rw says:

What we’re dealing with is called “stealth warming”. It’s due to another mysterious property of CO2. CO2 really is warming the globe, just like Dana says – and all at once that warmth will close in (or swoop down (or rise up (thank-you, Gator))) and getcha! Just after you’ve put in an order for more propane.

From Canada: You’re welcome. How do you like Prairie Winters?

  6. Bob Weber says:

I’m in Michigan too and have been shovelling and freezing most of the winter. Burned almost 9 face cord of firewood already. Can’t wait for that missing heat to upwell from the depths of the oceans (or Great Lakes) and warm us up!
