In 1974, climatologists said that global cooling was going to kill us all.
Meteorologists at the time said that climatologists don’t know what they are talking about, and aren’t real scientists.
Fast forward to 201, and nothing has changed – except that climatologists now use the word “warming” instead of “cooling.”
One of our local TV mets, David Finfrock, ‘bought’ into the Globull Warming hoaxism 10 to 20 years back. I haven’t heard him mention it in the last 10 years …

The local forecaster I watch was one of those meteorologists put on a hit list by George Soros, for his ‘heresy’.
David Finfrock should of known better. If I remember right, he was mentored by Harold Taft.
Yes, he was. And we all dearly miss Harold. Harold could add insights into the local weather that a cold, formal printout from the NWS could never ‘contain’ or convey e.g. the propensity of ‘dry lines’ to retreat to the west overnight and advance during the day.
And he (Harold) had a whale of sense of humor when it came to wx too.
This broadcast has a combination of humor, ‘modern’ satellite technology, hand drawn weather maps, the old mechanical local weather instruments and most importantly, Harold Taft insight and wisdom:

Well, unlike 1974, we have supercomputers that do trillions of calculations. The only problem is that all their results have been wrong as well.
Also the charge of “not credentialed enough to pontificate” has flipped from the meteorologists charging the climatologists to the climatologists charging the meteorologists.
A cult of metaphysics can never be scientifically based. Fraud, data torture, lying and propaganda apparently are not a part of the scientific method developed by Bacon in the 14th century….[meaning that warm tards are iron age theorists perhaps].
In the early 90’s there was a leading scientist in Meteorology that state that “We should get ready for worse weather which is the norm”. He stated, at that time, for the past 20 years or so that our weather was calm, and that the calm we had was not the norm. Wild weather was the norm.
I always thought it was interesting that he predicted the norm to look more like it is now.
If anyone could help tell me who this scientist was or an article, I would greatly appreciate it.
I guess I should add also there was an article about the EPA having done more damage to the environment because so many companies had left the US to other countries with lax or no Environment regulation.
The jist of the article was that the EPA should have worked with many of these companies instead of working against them and fining them.
This article had graphs and lots of empirical data. It has since disappeared from the
search engines. I figure the disappearance is related to proving that the EPA has
in fact damaged the Environment much much worse than it has helped.
Somehow climatologists have derived their ‘credentials’ from ‘consensus’ amongst themselves. Nice work, if you can get it.
I love when climatologists assemble their list of peers before they even write the article.
“I’m going to write a bogus climatology article, will you peer review it for me bruh?”
“Sure bru, you got it. What’s it going to be about?”
“I don’t know yet. I have until October to think of something.”
