A Solar Powered Civilization

The Anasazi were 100% solar powered, and in harmony with nature.

Of course they went to bed early, because there wasn’t any light after the sun set.

They had a very low CO2 footprint, and resorted to cannibalism when an 80 year long drought wiped them out in the 13th century.

Apparently Gaia was not impressed by their low CO2 footprint, or their commitment to solar energy.

Sky City of the Acoma is powered by slot machines, which are powered by palefaces pulling down on one arm.

I’m sure BBQ sauce wasn’t invented back then, but did they have salt and pepper?

  3. Johnbuk says:

Probably a shortage in the ‘Sacrifice’ budget as well. At least we’re not making that mistake again!

Just curious. Got a link for the cannibalism thing?

  5. gator69 says:

Obviously they perished because they did not have Obamacare.

They didn’t perish. They moved to the Rio Grand valley. They were the ancestors of the Pueblo people. And yes, they are now powered by one-armed bandits.

    • GoneWithTheWind says:

It is a popular belief by the Pueblo people that their ancestors are the Anasazi. Some of the Anasazi may indeed have been taken in by the Pueblo people as wives or slaves. But the evidence is that the Anasazi died out and probably because of the Medieval warming period but possibly from attack by larger groups of people who also were negatively impacted by the MWP.

    Get in there Steve.

Here in the UK the left are kicking up a storm over hunger and poverty, they are also creating hell over obesity levels amongst the poor which one is it? Please help me I’m confused

    • Gail Combs says:

You get obesity when the diet is high on junk food/pasta/bread/sugar (carbs) and low on appetite satisfying fat and protien. This means you see a lot of obesity among low-income groups.
