CO2 Traps Heat And Instantly Transports It To The Bottom Of The Sea

Our nations’ top climate experts tell us that CO2 no longer traps and holds heat in the troposphere, as evidenced by no atmospheric warming in almost 18 years.

After trapping the heat, the CO2 molecules now instantly transport it undetected to the bottom of the sea. This amazing discovery was made possible by $29 billion a year in government climate research money, which makes it possible for all sorts of criminals to call themselves scientists.

If anything ought to make people fall on the floor laughing at complete stupidity it is this explanation of why global warming paused !

Anyone stupid enough to believe that the atmosphere transfers “heat” to the bottom of the ocean against the 1000:1 density difference and against all known science of thermal transfer by convection is an idiot !

    Yet they do !

The other interesting thing about their stupid claim is – why did it not happen before ? Why does it sometimes heat the atmosphere and then the deep oceans at other times ?

    This is science ?

    • Morgan says:

It doesn’t have to be science. It just has to be published and pee reviewed by the 97% non-scientists who speak the same shibboleth jargon.

Why does it have to be science? Global warming was started by Jim Hansen, a complete lunatic who should be put in a straight jacket, who runs around Columbia University with 50 undergrads and teaches them how to tamper the GISS data.

      Science?

    • Al Gore says:

The point is that CO2 is bad. Very BAD! Carbon tax is good. Very good!

See the baaad CO2 can take heat into the oceans and kill all the ocean life. See it’s the CO2 and NOT fukushima radiation. CO2 can even transport heat into other dimensions, which could cause space aliens to attack earth. To save the oceans and stop alien attacks, you MUST pay your carbon tax.

Besides, I’m nearly broke and I really need the money. Come on guys, give me a break here. I was cheated out of the Presidency, and now this too?

  2. jimash1 says:

When they explain this to me I always imagine suspending an infrared space heater over a cold
bathtub full of water, and how that would probably never heat up much, even if I stirred it.

  3. Jimbo says:

I like to pose this example. Was there also a deep ocean uptake of heat during the 1910 to 1940 warm surface temperature uptick? (temps failed to rise for a few decades after 1940) If not why not? If yes then then when will it surface?

    • Hugh K says:

Nah…not enough magic CO2 back then Jimbo.

    • Gail Combs says:

“Was there also a deep ocean uptake of heat during the 1910 to 1940 warm surface temperature uptick?” Probably since the earth is 70% water and what heated the land (the sun) also heated the oceans.

“If yes then then when will it surface?”
      In about 1000 years.

      • Dmh says:

Gail, are you saying that you agree that the heat *is* at the bottom of the ocean?
In this case, the present heat comes from the Medieval Warm Period??? 🙂

        • Gail Combs says:

If you go along with an 800 to 1000 yr over turn of the oceans, then the present CO2 levels came from the Medieval Warm Period. 🙂

One of these days your sense of humor is going to get you into trouble.

These Nobel Prize winners are serious scientists who bend observations to fit Standard Models.

Our tax dollars pay top dollar for such scientific talent.

  5. Jeffk says:

The biggest fraud in human history! Just to justify Obama’s Nobel Peace Prize and save face for the MSM!

  6. Tel says:

Ahhh, the well known thermal wormhole effect.

  7. Send Al to the Pole says:

Is there going to be a test later? I need to know how much of this new science I need to memorize. Do we need the teleportation equations too?

  8. Andy DC says:

We should have a remake of “20,000 Leagues under the Sea” and instead call it “The Search for the Missing Heat”.

    • Dmh says:

If we don’t find it exactly at the bottom of the sea we could look under Earth’s crust, lots of heat there!

      • Well, a Noble Laureate did say that it was millions of degrees down there. I guess if you eat a bunch of mushrooms & then spin around 3000 times or so, that would be a million degrees, so he’s probably done it.

  9. SMS says:

If the heat that has been attributed to being hidden in the deep oceans would have truly have gotten past the Argo bouys without being noticed, it would still have still have manifested itself as expansion. Ocean sea levels would have accelerated. This has not happened.

There is no heat trapped in the deep oceans. Just another excuse by the alarmist climate scientists to keep the research money rolling in. My tax money being wasted.

  10. gator69 says:

Well, at least we found Nemo.

  11. RMB says:

These morons have never tested their hypothesis. You can not heat a gas in the atmosphere and have that heat transferred into the ocean by convection The heat is blocked by surface tension. The only heat that goes into the ocean goes in by radiation. Try getting heat into a bucket of water using a heat gun, And good luck.

    • Morgan says:

I really wish you’d cut the crap about surface tension. You make skeptics look bad when you spew nonsense that is even dumber than global warming itself.

  12. Bob Knows says:

You are leaving out the further migration of heat downward. CO2 traps heat which immediately sinks to the bottom of the ocean and into the earth. CO2 heat sinks down to the center of the earth where the rise in temperature is causing increased volcanism and earthquakes. As any 3rd grade (public schools) scientist knows, heat always sinks and the bottom heats up. Note: Liberal scientists never progress past 3rd grade level.

  13. D. Self says:

Give the 29 Billion to the private sector for “clean” energy research and see what happens. Instead the 29 billion is bribery.
