After trapping the heat, the CO2 molecules now instantly transport it undetected to the bottom of the sea. This amazing discovery was made possible by $29 billion a year in government climate research money, which makes it possible for all sorts of criminals to call themselves scientists.
If anything ought to make people fall on the floor laughing at complete stupidity it is this explanation of why global warming paused !
Anyone stupid enough to believe that the atmosphere transfers “heat” to the bottom of the ocean against the 1000:1 density difference and against all known science of thermal transfer by convection is an idiot !

The other interesting thing about their stupid claim is – why did it not happen before ? Why does it sometimes heat the atmosphere and then the deep oceans at other times ?

The point is that CO2 is bad. Very BAD! Carbon tax is good. Very good!
See the baaad CO2 can take heat into the oceans and kill all the ocean life. See it’s the CO2 and NOT fukushima radiation. CO2 can even transport heat into other dimensions, which could cause space aliens to attack earth. To save the oceans and stop alien attacks, you MUST pay your carbon tax.

I like to pose this example. Was there also a deep ocean uptake of heat during the 1910 to 1940 warm surface temperature uptick? (temps failed to rise for a few decades after 1940) If not why not? If yes then then when will it surface?

Well, a Noble Laureate did say that it was millions of degrees down there. I guess if you eat a bunch of mushrooms & then spin around 3000 times or so, that would be a million degrees, so he’s probably done it.
If the heat that has been attributed to being hidden in the deep oceans would have truly have gotten past the Argo bouys without being noticed, it would still have still have manifested itself as expansion. Ocean sea levels would have accelerated. This has not happened.
There is no heat trapped in the deep oceans. Just another excuse by the alarmist climate scientists to keep the research money rolling in. My tax money being wasted.

These morons have never tested their hypothesis. You can not heat a gas in the atmosphere and have that heat transferred into the ocean by convection The heat is blocked by surface tension. The only heat that goes into the ocean goes in by radiation. Try getting heat into a bucket of water using a heat gun, And good luck.

You are leaving out the further migration of heat downward. CO2 traps heat which immediately sinks to the bottom of the ocean and into the earth. CO2 heat sinks down to the center of the earth where the rise in temperature is causing increased volcanism and earthquakes. As any 3rd grade (public schools) scientist knows, heat always sinks and the bottom heats up. Note: Liberal scientists never progress past 3rd grade level.
Give the 29 Billion to the private sector for “clean” energy research and see what happens. Instead the 29 billion is bribery.
