The record ice on the Great Lakes agrees with thermometers, before NCDC starts tampering with the thermometer data. Measured data shows that 2014 to date is the coldest year on record in the US.

Hey … three days of snow here in Calgary would also agree with that “coldest year on record” … I want my spring back!!
I’m getting sick of the snow/rain here!!!
After adjustments, it will be the 104th coldest. The problem is that the Great Lakes are ignoring the adjustments.
When reality does not agree with the political agenda of the progressives, something has to give. Unfortunately, the truth is the first thing to go, followed thereafter by freedom of speech. (George Orwell lives)
Thank you, Steven, for reminding the climate modelers of reality.
Yeah but, Nick Stokes says Michigan temperatures are not massively tampered with and more ice doesn’t mean colder temperatures.
Ok can someone help me understand why there needs to be adjustments in the recorded the tempatures . I have looked at this research and do not understand why if each station is constant (over time) in which they take the high and low measurement, and do it at the same time of day, why the need for adjustment.

In reading the station locations, they are heavily weighted towards the population centers, which would all have a slight increase in tempatures based on “heat island”. The research paper doesn’t even consider that.
In addition the stations in the west (which would not be subjected to “heat island” are spaced farther apart and fewer of them, then in the east. Thus further distorting the so called rise in tempatures
Has anyone heard of research on the subject, which shows this distortion and the overall effects.
It is blatant fraud.
OMG, back space took out er on “temperature” that and bad proof reading on my part.
Only seven weeks to go before the Summer Solstice and NH days start getting shorter.
See the devastating Arctic meltdown satellite photo. Well, a few cubes have melted. But they were devastating cubes…………

Now that winter has passed, I hope it keeps up. I kind of like this mild spring!
