Collapse Of The Michigan Ice Pack

During the past week, the Michigan ice pack has largely collapsed – just as the climate models predicted.

“It was all thin rotten first year ice, not like the mile thick multi-year ice we used to have 20,000 years ago.”

Great, but most of the “Greenies” wont get it.

  2. tom0mason says:

So you think at this rate of melting the world will be ice-free this year?

    Do I need to…./sarcoff

  3. Bob Greene says:

The ice collapse was accompanied by extreme 20-30°F daily high temperature rises in central Michigan. The natives were so stunned by the change that they could only walk around with dazed expressions.

  4. lance says:

Ice fishing just won’t be the same now for another 10 months or so.

Harvard had given the OK for a satanic black mass on campus but after the outcry from the Archbishop of Boston disassociate itself from this activity.

It seems that Harvard misunderstood and thought it was a meeting of Stalinists.
Harvard ‘black mass’ event met with shock, outcry

    H/T to my brother-in-law.

  7. Andy DC says:

To see any ice at all on 5/13 is shocking.

  11. This just in from the NOAA: “The average temperature for the contiguous U.S. during April was 51.7°F, which was 0.7°F above the 20th century average. This was the 46th warmest April in the 120-year period of record.”

    http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/sotc/national/2014/4

    • “The April contiguous U.S. precipitation total of 2.83 inches was 0.31 inch above the 20th century average and the 30th wettest April on record.”
I guess the drought is over; time to scare the people about flooding.

    We ruined the world!!!//s

If you claim that Obama used HAARP to create Super-storm Sandy (to throw the election…as if he needed to), a liberal would reply with Reductio ad Absurdum by saying it is absurd to think that Obama had the power to control the weather, but the liberals (in the same breath) would be quick to say that we are causing climate change…

They were right, It Melted Away Quite Suddenly.

  15. inMAGICn says:

You mean it thaws in Michigan in the middle of Spring?

  16. Brian G Valentine says:

Certainly not a true tide, rather an influx of Spring melt of Northern mountain snow, observable every year, though not as dramatically as in the presence of shoreline ice

  17. Alan Moorhouse says:

We defy augury; there’s a special providence in the fall of a sparrow. If it be now, ’tis not to come; if it be not to come, it will be now; if it be not now, yet it will come: the readiness is all.
