Last year was very bad year for Reggie, his rowers and his blowtorch – but things are looking even worse this year. The edge of the multi-year ice now extends across the Beaufort Sea, and into the Chukchi Sea.
The animation below flashes between week 19 2013, and week 19 2014.
cfsv2 continues to show a positive ice anomaly for the 1st summer since amo went warm. Huge precursor to the end of this. Once amo is cold again in the longer sense, the scam will only be believed by delusional
… of which there is no shortage of supply (the delusional that is) in govt and academia …
.
+1
t is either delusion or outright lying for the ‘Cause’ (or to line the wallet.)
Time to defund the Academics and the BureauRats.
That’s exactly what we are doing in Australia. Defunding all the alarmist climate wackoes and also defunding the over priced solar and wind industry that has been sucking taxpayer money into huge black hole.

Science has a “peak body” now ?!?
Elle MacPherson is the peak body of science. At least I reckon she is.
Delusional or bat shit crazy … my money is on bat shit crazy 😉
“Delusional or bat shit crazy…”
You have met the high officials of the UN then?
The cold weather in the eastern US and Canada continued to the east/northeast to cool down the northern section of the Atlantic Gyre. The cool Atlantic waters between 40 and 60 N have moved below average for the first time in ~20 years. The excess ice on the Great Lakes and East coast, as well as the thick Hudson Bay ice, are going to keep those regions cool throughout the spring. The major Atlantic currents are going to push those waters to the North Atlantic and the AMO flip will be complete. Then things will stay cold for the next 12 to 15 years.
Steve,
The Russians have a website which also has maps of Arctic ice concentration, not thickness though. You can also select other options such as pressure, wind, wave height, and current.
May be occasionally useful. Just thought I’d give you a heads-up.

Might be a Norwegian site, but all the info is about shipping in Russian waters.
yeah, but it’s that krazy, krunky, KOCK ice so it’s evil.
Are we keeping a book on who tries to get through the Northwest Passage this year?
I’m willing to put a tenner on Reggie and his technicolor blowtorch!
I understand there is a lesbian relay swim team attempt. 88 to 1 odds for the bingo afficionados.
Yeah I know those girls, they call themselves the “legs eleven”.
I doubt they will make it, but we can expect a lot of sponsors.
Thanks for posting this. I left a question on an earlier thread about the effect of the early 2014 Arctic Warm spell, and this helps get an answer. BTW, the huge snow extent in northern North America should have some lingering effect toward keeping temperatures down.
Wiktionary’s fourth definition for the adjective “rotten” is “bad or terrible”.
For some people, ice that “should not be there by now” is “bad or terrible” because it is contrary to their predictions, and is thus “rotten”.
Whatever happened to Snow White?
I think he gave up when he figured out that the people on this site know a heck of a lot more than he does and he couldn’t show off his ‘expertise’.
It is quite amusing to watch Al Gore’s current crop of graduates from his Climate Reality Project come strutting onto climate ‘Den!er’ websites to learn us backwoods hicks a thing or two about Gore Bull Worming only to have their rearends handed to them.
A good illustration of why They stopped beating the MYI drum.
