   But in the Soviet Union they confiscated all the guns and then killed off groups that might make waves. With private ownership of guns it is far more likely that it will devolve into a revolution or civil war here.

   Historically, 70 years seems to be a good guess about the longevity of a dystopia. Let’s hope that with improved communications the cycle speeds up a bit.

     Without the support of Americans the USSR would have collapsed a lot sooner.

     For example Cargill was shipping US wheat to Soviet Union and US bankers (transplanted from Germany) were shipping gold.

   We have a standoff between

   1. Irrational fear mongers with most of the political power versus

   2. Critics with precise experimental data that FALSIFY consensus models

   This standoff may not end unless #1 group is promised immunity from prosecution for sixty-nine years (2014 – 1945 = 69 yrs) of deception to avoid possible nuclear annihilation.

   I would personally recommend that approach as being in the best interst of society and all participants in the debate.

     It will decrease the egos of world leaders who tried to take total control of mankind in the aftermath of WWII.
