It almost became ice free two weeks ago. But then the Koch brothers and big oil altered the data.

Looks like Reggie’s blowtorch malfunctioned again.

  3. Bill says:

From the black spike downward, looks like it already started! 🙂

I’ll miss the row boaters this year. So much clueless piety packed into one small boat.

No doubt the Stupids are no longer intereseted in Grand Standing since Canada has stated they will CHARGE MONEY for rescues and Russia just tosses the idiots in jail.

The Australian Government is going to spend hundreds of millions on a new icebreaker or two for Antarctica. What’s the point? Al Gore says there won’t be any ice, and he bought a Nobel prize. Without any sea ice that will be such a waste of money. I mean how much sea ice can there be around Antarctica? The evil Koch bros must own the ship building company.

no, no… he said no ice in 12 HOURS. “I have the measurement chart right here folks. See, already the ice is nearly gone,” – the Goracle. (as he casually puts away his Pentel marker pen)

  7. dcpetterson says:

Al Gore never said what you claim he said. It would be nice if deniers could get even one fact straight.
And the climate models are proving to be extremely accurate, though a bit on the conservative side.

  8. Dmh says:

It’s been almost a straight line since mid March, that is 2 months of nearly invariable rate of ice melting.
This looks like something new in comparison with previous years.
If it continues- I don’t think it is possible, but if for some reason it does- the ice will be at average levels by the end of the melting season in September.

  9. Truthseeker says:

Can someone remind me what caused the down spike?

  10. The Griss says:

Hey, it must be getting close to “guess the summer minimum” time.

Who’s holding the bets this year ?

  11. Andy Oz says:

Before Progressives to over Russia, in 1914 the Yeniset river was closed 10 months of the year.

100 years later, the Arctic Ice has “melted away quite suddenly” and ships have access 10 months of the year. I just don’t know what all that white stuff is?! Clouds, I suppose. 😀

Shock News: “In 1968, Canadian Experts” say the Arctic was Ice Free 5000 years ago, when CO2 was sub 300ppm but has cooled massively since then. And Russian “Scientists” wanted to dam the Bering Strait to melt all the Arctic Sea Ice in three years! Maybe they succeeded with an invisble dam.

You’re having altogether too much fun Andy. You’ve forgotten that Winston Smith’s job at the Ministry of Truth was to rewrite history. The Arctic was never ice free, the Party says this. It is so. And today we learn that Michael E. Mann has joined the same Ministry, rewriting the history of his own previous AMO paper, Knight et al 2005 GRL. It was never written, that paper. It was only in our foetid imaginations.

They aren’t even original, these rewriters of data, Orwell was in their datasets looking out at them ‘way before they worked this trick out.

      • Andy Oz says:

I think Michael Mann is a Russian spy who failed science at Kiev university, heard about the plan to melt the arctic ice and was parachuted into Canada to carry on with the plan. His “papers” about the Arctic melting are just reports back to Russian HQ trying to convince them he is succeeding with the project. Russian spy masters don’t laugh when you make stuff up. It’s normally a .22 cal to the back of the head. Oh well. No loss.

    • Andy Oz says:

Arctic Sea Ice is on the move today! Must be windy up there.

All you need to do is move the “l” to the right a couple of words, & you’re describing the entire Clinton administration.
