North Koreans are already enjoying the Obama low CO2, government planned economy.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

Cuts down on road maintenance.
Six lanes and tripple parking—-if they had a car.
triple. “Enter your comment here blocks my first line, so it’s sometimes guesswork.
here”—see?
Just move your mouse or if needed highlite and delete.
Yes it does.
Just inset a new line after “Enter your comment here” and write from there. Magically only your comment will appear when you post your comment.
If the box is too small (if you can’t see all you’ve written) click outside the box, then back in the box and it ‘should’ auto-resize to the text entry.
Hope this helps.
The wonders of WordPress…
Strange, just starting to type clears it for me!
You guys need to get a Mac. That line disappears when I type, like QV says.
iMac uMac we all Mac
Wouldn’t that be a reason NOT to get a Mac? 😉
which browser are you using? It does not do that in Firefox or Chrome.
I’m not using a Mac!
May be the browser – Google Chrome
When I use Firefox, the “Enter your comment here” disappears when I start typing. When I use Safari, it disappears when I click the box to get a cursor, even before I start typing.
Big Libz like Ted Turner, Babs Streisand, John Holdren, and Teresa Heinz-Kerry go into uncontrollable paroxysms of ecstasy imagining every American subjected to that type of existence.
So Holdren is actually a North Korean agent?
“Chief Obama science advisor John Holdren famously said: “A massive campaign must be launched to … de-develop the United States … bringing our economic system (especially patterns of consumption) into line with the realities of ecology and the global resource situation…. [Economists] must design a stable, low-consumption economy in which there is a much more equitable [re]distribution of wealth.”

Yes.
To bad the spoiled brats shouting and demonstrating for “Climate Justice” can’t figure that out.
For a description of a low consumption economy google either North Korea or 8th Century Europe.
SO is Venezuela. Got a call tonight from my friend (and father to my granddaughter). As he said, no food, no water, no power. An Obama paradise.
Even the Communist Chinese had bicycles. Guess North Korea is worried that means too much freedom in getting around.

They are not all buses, two are trolleybuses. They probably do not run at night when most of the electricity is switched off. http://www.newscientist.com/blogs/shortsharpscience/2011/12/satellite-image-shows-kim-jong.html
Steve,
This is closer to home than you think. Behavior change is a-comin’.
http://www.fcgov.com/citymanager/budget-feedback.php?id=94
“Buildings are the primary contributor to carbon emissions in the city and residential units comprise 24% of all emissions. Many existing City programs target single home participation, which hinders large-scale behavior change and results in program underutilization. To achieve Climate Action Plan goals and engage citizens in all City objectives, we must prioritize neighborhood level engagement and redesign programs.”
“A change that would rethink and reshape existing streets and standards to emphasize lower vehicle speeds and encourage walking, bicycling, and transit modes in the existing cross sections of roadways and trails…”
The city just spent a huge amount of money building the most useless excuse for a mass transit system, known as “Maxx” It is basically a strip of concrete running along the train tracks, which is for the exclusive use of buses that are nearly empty all of the time.
They should have just built a continuous bike trail, which would get 100X as much use.
You ought to go to Tacoma. They have a light rail that connects downtown Tacoma to nearly downtown Tacoma.
Richmond is studying the idea and plans one of its own.
One more reason to move out of the cities.
At least they know to use $ instead of S in Outcomes. Because that’s the entire goal.
I wonder what a low nitrogen economy would look like, since it is about to become environmental enemy No 1 from the klimate kooks.
