   Well, speaking of afternoons, it’s the afternoon in Big Bear Lake, California, and it’s snowing, right now, at a pretty good clip. We’ll see what type of accumulation we get. On May 6th. This could derail plans to open the golf course this weekend…

   Reminds me of earlier last year, on October 9th, when Big Bear had the earliest 1 inch + snow storm (~ 4 inches). The previous record was October 10th in 1985 when Big Bear got barely just an inch that time.

   Yes, more storms from the Pacific Ocean and Siberia is bringing snow to the mountains out West. Of course, not LA so we have ‘global warming’ so long as movie and reality TV stars are roasting on Venice Beach like the beached whale in Canada.
