Of course poverty will be eliminated. You just need to eliminate the poor and uncooperative, useless eaters.

    KILLING THOSE “UNFIT TO LIVE”
“The moment we face it frankly we are driven to the conclusion that the community has a right to put a price on the right to live in it … If people are fit to live, let them live under decent human conditions. If they are not fit to live, kill them in a decent human way. Is it any wonder that some of us are driven to prescribe the lethal chamber as the solution for the hard cases which are at present made the excuse for dragging all the other cases down to their level, and the only solution that will create a sense of full social responsibility in modern populations?”

Source: George Bernard Shaw, Prefaces (London: Constable and Co., 1934), p. 296.

Under Socialism, you would not be allowed to be poor. You would be forcibly fed, clothed, lodged, taught, and employed whether you liked it or not. If it were discovered that you had not character and industry enough to be worth all this trouble, you might possibly be executed in a kindly manner; but whilst you were permitted to live, you would have to live well.”

George Bernard Shaw: The Intelligent Woman’s Guide to Socialism and Capitalism, 1928, pg. 470)

“A total population of 250-300 million people, a 95% decline from present levels, would be ideal.” – Ted Turner, founder of CNN and the UN Foundation

”My three goals would be to reduce human population to about 100 million worldwide, destroy the industrial infrastructure and see wilderness, with its full complement of species, returning throughout the world.” — David Foreman, co-founder of Earth First!

“The planet is about to break out with fever.. and we [humans] are the disease. We should be at war with ourselves and our lifestyles.” -Thomas Lovejoy, Smithsonian Institution

“Global Sustainability requires the deliberate quest of poverty, reduced resource consumption and set levels of mortality control.” – Professor Maurice King

Childbearing should be a punishable crime against society, unless the parents hold a government license. All potential parents should be required to use contraceptive chemicals, the government issuing antidotes to citizens chosen for childbearing.” — David Brower, First Executive Director of the Sierra Club

”If I were reincarnated I would wish to return to earth as a killer virus to lower human population levels.” — Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh,
    Husband of Queen Elizabeth II,
Patron of the World Wildlife Foundation

You need a big body of unsatisfied people to start a revolution. That is why Obambi was chosen with Hope and Change. Thanks to him the body of unsatisfied people has become MUCH bigger because they did not understand what socialism means.

    • I. Lou Minotti says:

As far as I’m concerned, this nonsense started with a “Christian” Anglican minister, one Thomas Malthus. His descendants whom you quoted merely wear his mantle, hence we call them Malthusians.

“We are bound in justice and honour to disclaim the right of the poor to support . . . [W]e should facilitate, instead of foolishly and vainly endeavoring to impede, the operations of nature in producing this mortality; and if we dread the too frequent visitation of the horrid form of famine, we should sedulously encourage the other forms of destruction, which we compel nature to use. Instead of recommending cleanliness to the poor, we should encourage contrary habits. In our towns we should make the streets narrower, crowd more people into the houses, and court the return of the plague.” ~Thomas Malthus, “An Essay on the Principle of Population” (c.1826).

For all intents and purposes, we should credit this clown with outlining the basic principles of what would later be called UN Agenda 21.

      • To Thomas Malthus’s credit, he did later admit that he was wrong (at leaset about the population vs. food growth curve).

To the eternal lack of credit of his “followers”, the never bothered to read past the part where they get to kill other people.

  2. http://www.nasa.gov/image-feature/2016-blizzard-by-moonlight

shows the blizzard by infrared and moonlight. The Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) on the Suomi NPP satellite acquired this image of the storm system at 2:15 a.m. EST on Jan. 23. It was composed through the use of the VIIRS “day-night band,” which detects faint light signals such as city lights, moonlight, airglow, and auroras. In the image, the clouds are lit from above by the nearly full Moon and from below by the lights of the heavily populated East Coast. The city lights are blurred in places by cloud cover.

  3. Oliver Manuel says:

Barack Obama, Al Gore and the Democratic Party adopted Stalin’s USSR technique of using “consensus science” and fictitious concerns for society to destroy basic human rights of individual members.

The worldwide web of deceit engulfing the globe today extends far beyond the scientific community:

    http://www.thetruthaboutthelaw.com/

    http://nomorefakenews.com

    http://www.shtfplan.com/conspiracy-fact-and-theory/most-powerball-lotto-players-desperate-to-escape-from-the-feeling-of-poverty_01132016

In the opening scenes of Michael Moore’s movie Farenheit 911, Al Gore in November 2000 was preparing to be sworn in as President of the United States. After the US Supreme Court selected George Bush instead, Al Gore suddenly began his AGW campaign about an “Inconvenient truth.”

Was the AGW campaign designed to destroy US industry in retaliation for Republicians stealing the 2000 election?

    • Republicans won the 2000 election. Democrats tried to steal it. The fact that they couldn’t steal it means the Republicans stole it, because of “projection”. Every thief thinks others are thieves too.

      • Oliver Manuel says:

Thanks, Morgan. Perhaps Governor Jeb Bush had nothing to do with the miscount of ballots in Florida, but . . .

the abrupt change in Al Gore’s career after the election was decided in George Bush’s favor, . . .

and the energy invested in his AGW campaign to pinch off the exhaust pipe from the America’s powerful economic engine . . .

are intriguing historic changes in the course of this country.

        • Ernest Bush says:

The AGW campaign started by Al Gore had already been planned in 1999, according to some pretty good sources. What he would have accomplished had he been elected President in that regard is something for skeptics to shudder about while considering the nightmarish implications. Look at the damage done by Obama and our run-amok government in that regard to date. We are not in danger of losing basic freedoms in this country. In many areas of our lives we have already lost them. And, yes, some of the damage was done during the Bush era.

We now have competing dynasties vying to be the royal ruling President of the United States. I am not an angry American. I am past that, but I have not lost all reason. Donald Trump is soaring in polls right now because so many of us are past reasoning. Trump will probably be the Republican candidate, although we really need a Ted Cruz. If Bernie Sanders is the Democrat candidate, it will put an end to the Clinton dynasty. We need to put an end to the Bush dynasty, also. The economic and social damage caused by both of these families is immense.

Then there is real climate change. If we are going into a really cold period (mini ice age?) the evidence imposed on the reality of sane Americans by 2018 will put an end to anything the CAGW crowd throws up. By 2020 there will be many crop failures and loss of cattle and sheep in places like Canada and Northern Europe. By 2022 there will be difficulty in growing crops above the 45th parallel in most of the northern hemisphere, Losses of crops and herd animals on a large scale are already happening in South American and South Africa.

          Everybody enjoy the new year.

        • Oliver Manuel says:

          Typo?

“We are now in danger of losing basic freedoms in this country.

        • Ernest Bush says:

@Oliver – please read that sentence in the context of the one above. What I was saying that we are not in danger of losing basic freedoms because we have already lost them. Perhaps I should have been more succinct.

        • Gail Combs says:

“The AGW campaign started by Al Gore had already been planned in 1999,…”
          …….

Actually it started in 1972 at the First Earth Summit where Strong invited NGOs like Greenpeace, paid their way and then invited them to go home and raise hell. We got the Ozone scare directly after and then the EPA.

As Elaine Dewar wrote in Toronto’s Saturday Night magazine:

It is instructive to read Strong’s 1972 Stockholm speech and compare it with the issues of Earth Summit 1992. Strong warned urgently about global warming, the devastation of forests, the loss of biodiversity, polluted oceans, the population time bomb. Then as now, he invited to the conference the brand-new environmental NGOs [non-governmental organizations]: he gave them money to come; they were invited to raise hell at home. After Stockholm, environment issues became part of the administrative framework in Canada, the U.S., Britain, and Europe.
          http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg106963.html

Even the people at Radio for Peace at the Peace University saw through Maurice Strong and his ties to big business and the big banks several years ago.

The university’s administrator, Canadian Maurice Strong, came in on a wave of influence based on the promise of Ted Turner’s foundation to give a billion dollars to the UN. His connections to the Turner foundation, the World Bank, and to those environmental groups you hear criticized for allowing domination by big business, are just the tip of the iceberg.

Anyone searching “Maurice Strong” on the web encounters a very interesting array of entries. (To quote Lewis Carroll, the story becomes “Curious and curiouser”) If we can believe even 10% of the story of his ascent to power and influence, an astonishing tale of subterfuge emerges, consistent with his attack on RFPI. Beyond the fig leaf of NGO’s that he uses for cover, Strong’s real alliances are with the enemies of the UN, which they are busily “reforming”….
http://www.w4uvh.net/dxldtd3g.html%5DMaurice Strong and Radio for Peace International

Strong had a history as a conman and swindler long before his involvement with Obama, Gore and the Chicago Climate Exchange link Strong had also been caught up in a series of U.N. scandals and conflicts of interest, not to mentions several insider trading scams such as the AZL Resources Lawsuit, the food for oil scandal and the Molten Metal Inc swindle involving Al Gore, Earth Day, tax payer money, lawsuits and a House Committee Investigation

If you think Al Gore was bad, Strong has him topped by a mile as the biggest source of CO2 emissions in Canada.

…Ontario Hydro, an industrial concern, headed by Earth Summit secretary general Maurice Strong, which is the biggest source of CO2 emissions in Canada. This corporation is currently selling nuclear reactors to Argentina and Chile…. http://www.hartford-hwp.com/archives/27/061.html

        “Lying politicians” is redundancy.

“Lying scientists” are more skilled liars. The late Professor Rana Murthy made a discovery in 1960 that revealed massive iron meteorites condensed from highly radioactive and chemically heterogeneous supernova debris, in direct violation of the “solar nebula” model of the solar system’s formation by collapse of a homogeneous, interstellar cloud of hydrogen:

    • Ernest Bush says:

By 2030 the inability to grow crops and raise farm animals in Canada and the northern United States may do more than create poverty. Large numbers of people may be starving. The United States and Europe will have become the latest victims of socialism as economies grow in what we call Third World Nations. We will finally have been reduced to third world status with a general population too stupid to dig itself out of poverty (I would be 102, so I’m not including myself here). I wonder if those countries who will have achieved the status of modern world powers will be as kind to us as we have been to them in recent history/sarc.

      • Gail Combs says:

The following quotes show the move from food sovereignty to a reliance on the global Ag market controlled by ten transnational corporations in the USA over the last twenty years since the WTO agreement on Ag. China, not being stupid is buying up farmland in Africa, South America and even the USA. So are several multimillionaires.

Under Clinton the move was made to get rid of US grain reserves.
        http://articles.latimes.com/2012/sep/21/opinion/la-oe-kaufman-food-hunger-drought-20120921

In 2008 the USDA announced ‘The cupboard is bare’ and we had the 2008 world food crisis. This was the response to calls for putting back in place a US grain reserve.

“In summary, we have record low grain inventories globally as we move into a new crop year. We have demand growing strongly. Which means that going forward even small crop failures are going to drive grain prices to record levels. As an investor, we continue to find these long term trends…very attractive.” Food shortfalls predicted: 2008 http://www.financialsense.com/fsu/editorials/dancy/2008/0104.html

“Recently there have been increased calls for the development of a U.S. or international grain reserve to provide priority access to food supplies for Humanitarian needs. The National Grain and Feed Association (NGFA) and the North American Export Grain Association (NAEGA) strongly advise against this concept..Stock reserves have a documented depressing effect on prices… and resulted in less aggressive market bidding for the grains.” July 22, 2008 letter to President Bush http://www.naega.org/images/pdf/grain_reserves_for_food_aid.pdf

The Global Treaties allows Transnationals to patent thousands of years of seed breeding by third world farmers. The European Union is leading the way with laws limiting the sale of seed to only those who can afford enormous registration fees. The USA has promised to “harmonize” US regs with EU regs. Animal patenting is also targeted with an international patenting service already set up and over 600 animal patents registered internationally. Meanwhile Monsanto sues any farmer found to have GMO crops “volunteering” (that is, appearing without having been deliberately planted) in his fields.

Is the extermination of family farms planned, or is it just bureaucratic bumbling?
This question was answered during discussion of the agricultural conditions for entry by Poland into the EU. The EU chair lady bluntly stated the EU plans to oust a million Polish farmers from their land. Another EU member proudly announced Portugal had already removed 60% of their farmers. After traditional farmers are regulated out of business, corporations move in buying land cheaply and instituting environmentally devastating monoculture farming. The EU has doubled the intake of herbicides, multiplied the use of fungicides by six times and increased the area sprayed with pesticides by almost a hundred per cent in the past two decades. All very profitable for the Ag chemical giants. Polish entry into the European Union http://www.i-sis.org.uk/savePolishCountryside.php

The bottom line is that transnational corporations want to make the largest profit possible without regard for the consequences. Recent actions indicate they are moving behind the scenes to:
        Vertically integrate the food chain
Get rid of competition via mergers, buyouts and regulations,
Make it impossible for new competition to arise via cost prohibited regulations
Transport goods across national borders without inspections thanks to free trade agreements
Transfer product liability (lawsuits) to others using unfair contracts
Have a captive market who has no option but to buy from them
Create a monopsony so sellers have only one buyer

Do the transnationals views competition from independent farmers selling locally a threat?
        Yes

With consumers increasingly demanding food that is safe, nutritious, and locally grown, the industry is sure to grow, say Penn State researchers, who believe that maximum growth will depend on collaboration among different parts of the industry from the grower through the processor and marketer to the consumer, and also involve institutions of higher learning to provide science-based innovations and an educated workforce. The university is responding to this need by developing a coalition to address strengths and weaknesses in the food industry.
The project is being funded by a USDA grant.

  8. Ernest Bush says:

You would not know that the world is prospering in general if your only source of news is the U.S. MSM. Socialists don’t want our population to know that the amount of hunger in the world has been reduced drastically in the past few decades as the world has warmed. If they let you see that how are they going to sell the AGW Alarmist myth about how we are all going to die from runaway heat.

    • gregole says:

      Ernest,

If there isn’t a crisis, who needs a government? I mean, a minimum coordinating function, and national defense – but if things are running smoothly in society and no one is invading… These government people don’t have much of a use.

So, lately it seems, there are a plague of fake problems. Income inequality (demographics); Man-Made Global Warming (normal climatic cycles we scarcely understand). Fake problems call for fake solutions. And I agree, the Socialists are the worst offenders; and Socialists seem to have completely taken over the Democratic party.

Thank you, Gail, for sharing your warehouse of little-known historical information.

Going even further back to 1543 when Copernicus discovered the giant fountain of energy at the gravitational center of the solar system, the most powerful religious and political leaders have spent the last ~500 years trying to hide from the public that they are powerless over the FORCE of creation, preservation and destruction of all atoms, lives and planets in the solar system:
