I have something good on the way, which will make easy access to climate data available to everyone.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

btw, these temp patterns look a lot like the random series one can generate with a Hurst process containing persistence (H>0.5). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jYrpABY5YUw

There is nothing random about them. They are very consistent across geographical areas.
Looks great! I will definitely give it a try. Keep up the good work.
That’s not nice! Tell us what it is!!!!!!!
Looks very nice, Tony. Thanks for doing this.
What we need is a bull excfement graph. Here is a good place to start:http://www.washingtonpost.com/sf/national/2015/11/27/disease/
Oh…and thank you for your useful work.
I’m impressed!
Excellent! This will allow anyone to quickly counter the wild media claims.
So you’re web-izing your amazing software? If so, this is going to be an alarmism killer. Not being a Linux guy (and being 30 years rusty Unix type stuff), it took me a couple of days to get it to run the first time, then it worked fine after I had all the libraries. Haven’t played much with it after that, but I thought a windows front end would make all the difference and would be a fun project if I only had more than 20 minutes a day to work on other things. A web front end would be incredible.
For now, it will be a desktop app.
Grumble, now I will have to get hubby to stuff some computerize into my computer challenged brain. At least he is a Linux guy.
Thanks Tony.
This is a complete no-brainer Windows/Mac/Linux app. No skills required.
Awesome! Really looking forward to that… Can we also download the data from the chart?
Yes, the app downloads the data in order to build the chart.
I wish you luck, here’s the latest from the other side:

I expect whatever information you make accessible will be labeled as lies and otherwise ignored.
Sorry to be so pessimistic.
I hate these things with the heat of a thousand suns (or a thousand PPM of CO2, if you’re a warmist). Even Spencer’s 72 models since 1979 thing is sort of silly.
All scientific predictions for evaluation should have two characteristics:
1) They should be about the future
2) They should use an objective scale
Reporting things in “anomaly” is a stupid practice that should be stopped immediately. Just tell us the goddamned temperature you are predicting! This crap with baselines just makes the whole thing a tiresome exercise in three card monte.
Yes! Showing anomalies gives one more spot to hide the pea.
looking at temps. from now back to 1895 is like comparing pears with apples
Utter nonsense.
Kinda looks like the Real Science family here gets more riled up and wordy about politics then about science stuff, Like threads ten times as long 🙂
Maybe the Don does it to us.
Looking forward to using it.
Steve case Still doesn’t work not even close NO warming even with your models. your graph LOOK
They don’t care. They just need something that implies lots of future warming is plausible. By 2050 they’ll be adjusting the 1980s into an Ice Age.
This looks a great initiative! I will look forward to making use of it. Keep up the excellent work, Steve.
Steve,
Simply awesome!
All – it’s time to hit the tip jar – you too Martin!
Really looking forward to this. Keep up the amazing work!
I do have access to all U.S records, un adjusted (non-homogenized) measurements of all weather data stations. including AK and Hawaii.
I assumed because Steve had them I would not bother to mention it. Graphs can be made of highs, lows, and mean if measurements were taken. Graphs can be made for any length of time.
I have been using them locally in my little campaign.
I am waiting for my delivery of Climate Hustle which will be in select theaters first.
Luckily most schools will not ban me yet and Supts usually trust me. A few request me. But I do piss off some college types.
However, I am amazed at how little they know or can comprehend beyond their narrow area of expertise.
Looking forward to it.
SPREN– on an earlier post you corrected me. I made an assumption about the order of happenings and I stand corrected, thank You.
I was unable to see the debates, but only saw highlights afterword, and I should have been more careful. However, I will need to look back on it.
However, my mind on the subject matter (Trump) is unchanged as it was formed over a long time and for many different reasons
All I can say Tony is: Go baby go; You can do it all !!!!!!!!!!!!! Anything is based on the KISS Principle that is accurate and effective is a big winner in my book! BTW for you non US and non Military types KISS = Keep It Simple Stupid. The US Navy came up with that concept. Essentially it means that the simplest solution that is effective is the best when it comes to systems design. But the KISS Principle works in most other areas also and I think is especially needed in the realm of accessing climate (and weather) data.
That looks awesome Steve. I was just thinking thew other day we need something like this.
