I am not a scientist, just an interested layman but can remember questioning a real scientist around 40 years ago, when the AGW scam was in its infancy and had not devolved into the huge political football it has now become.

What the scientist told me is what he taught in his advanced course in radiation theory. The exact same thing that Dr. Gray is saying in the video. As you add more CO2 into the atmosphere, you get a rapidly diminishing net warming effect. Beyond a certain point, most will simply settle out.

So the basic science behind the catastrophic AGW hypothesis appears to be fundamentally flawed and largely based on dubious, concocted feedback effects that are greatly overstated.

They predicted 83ºF for Saturday at my Sound Shore location, it hit 89ºF. They can’t even get these things correct ~24 hours ahead.

    • Scott Scarborough says:

If they are that far off in their 100 year “Projection” it will be 2 degrees of cooling instead of 4 degrees or warming… a total fail! So they claim more accuracy in a “Projection” that is 36000 times as far out into the future.

Search “Iron Mountain Report” for the beginning of this SCAM.

  4. Robertv says:

All forms of government will look for ways to increase their power. Creating fear so we voluntarily gave away our freedom is the favorite one. During at least the last 4000 years weather has been the perfect tool.

The opening line is delivered Brilliantly!

Great talk great man great scientist.

    Thanks for posting Tony

  6. If these guys were confident they’d bet on the climate. People could put money down and there would be a climate lottery. Set up a climate casino, I have $50 that says East Antarctica will gain 50 gigatons in 2016.

I think BetFair in the UK run markets on the weather.

Especially the chance of a white Christmas.

  8. Latitude says:

For the life of me I’ll never understand how this thing got any traction in the first place…

They admit that they don’t understand clouds, don’t understand humidity, the sun….ok, their list of what they admit they don’t understand is longer than their list of what they claim they do understand…

but yet, they can make computer games that predict the future….if this trend continues

…then to top it all off, all of their predictions have been wrong

The stream of BS from these people just never ends:

The stupidity of these articles is mindboggling but I find it encouraging that the crooks are forced to work with complete idiots to push this crap. When people keep telling you that Baghdad Bob was more credible you know your cause is in trouble.

Developing countries such as Nepal, home to Mount Everest, and Uganda, where tourists travel to see mountain gorillas, may be particularly hard hit …

“Some Easter Island statues are at risk of being lost to the sea because of coastal erosion,” Markham said in a statement.

To maintain the World Heritage sites it was essential to achieve a goal of keeping global average temperature rise to below 2 degrees Celsius, as agreed by world leaders in Paris in December, the experts said.

Bill Gray was a great man and scientist. Seeing that he stood strong for what science was telling him against fraudulent people over decades shows what a good and honest character he was. Integrity and the ability to understand things no matter what their political implications are do make him a giant. May he rest in peace.
    Thanks Tony for posting this!

It’s fun to watch drkweak flounder in the comments : apparently he thinks unadjusted data shows the same amount of warming, yet omits to explain why it needs adjusting at all, or why graphs from as short as a decade ago look vastly different from todays.

  12. Marty says:

Schmidt even agreed with McIntyre on the “limited value” of less than multidecadal climate model forecasts.

In other words, limited value of forecasts by climate models that can be measured against observation within a 1 2 5 or 10 year time span. :D
