“Never Let A Crisis Go To Waste”

Suppose the CIA hacked the DNC, and left “Russian footprints” behind to cover their tracks. That means they were working against Hillary. Now suppose Barack Hussein Obama decided to turn this around, and use it as an excuse to attempt a coup against the President of the United States.

This situation is more complicated than it appears.

As I understand it the “hack” was not a hack but Podesta was phished. He received a spear phishing email designed to look like official communication from Google notifying him someone had tried to change his password.

  2. Thomas Robbins says:

However – the DNC hacks were not Podesta were they? That’s another kind of exploit – not sure what that was.. He was her Campaign manager, not supposed to be affiliated with the DNC….

    • Gail Combs says:

DNC LEAKS were most probably from Seth Rich who was murdered shortly there after. Why else would Assange offer $20,000 reward? Why else was he NOT robbed?

      • Jason Calley says:

Certainly looks that way to me. Rich was a Bernie supporter who saw how Hillary had stolen the nomination.

        • Gail Combs says:

And being young and naive he was no doubt outraged. Seth was also in the position to do the leaks since he was a staffer and self-described data analyst for the Democratic National Committee. He worked on a computer application to help voters locate polling places.

As one commenter put it. Murdered in the small hours of the night and NOT Rolled???

Bloomingdale is not exactly a safe area

      • annieoakley says:

I believe Seth Rich is the man who leaked this too.

      • Gail Combs says:

I forgot to add Assange point blank stated the DNC was LEAKS from an INSIDER, a whistleblower on top of offering the reward. (H/T to Stefan Molyneux.)

The ONLY ‘evidence’ of a ‘Russian Hack’ of the DNC was from the cyber security firm Crowdstrike HIRED by the DNC. Dmitri Alperovitch, the CEO is a Russian Ex-pat who HATES RUSSIA. The DNC WOULD NOT ALLOW the FBI to checkout their computers.

…For instance, the malware used was an out-dated version just waiting to be found. The one other interesting point is that the Russian malware called Grizzly Steppe is from Ukraine. How did Crowdstrike miss this when it is their business to know?….

        • Squidly says:

The DNC “hack” was a “leak” by DNC staffer Seth Rich, who was subsequently murdered just a few blocks from his apartment in D.C. shortly thereafter.

The Podesta email leak was from his own stupidity of including his password in an email that he sent. That password was “password”.

  3. Thomas Robbins says:

Either way – our out of control Intelligence agencies must be reigned in swiftly and harshly…if “anonymous” sources, printed as fact, can ruin someone’s career, the Democracy is toast.

    • Gail Combs says:

The Yellow Stream Media also needs to be reined in. They need to be held libel for printing ‘libel’ or speaking ‘slander’
      In that Trump is correct.

At present the press can smear, lie, fabricate evidence and that’s perfectly WITHIN THE LAW.

New York Times Co. v. Sullivan, 376 U.S. 254 (1964), was a landmark United States Supreme Court case that established the actual malice standard, which has to be met before press reports about public officials can be considered to be defamation and libel; and hence allowed free reporting of the civil rights campaigns in the southern United States. It is one of the key decisions supporting the freedom of the press. The actual malice standard requires that the plaintiff in a defamation or libel case, if he is a “public figure”, prove that the publisher of the statement in question knew that the statement was false or acted in reckless disregard of its truth or falsity. Because of the extremely high burden of proof on the plaintiff, and the difficulty of proving the defendant’s knowledge and intentions, such claims by public figures rarely prevail….

In sum the court ruled that “the First Amendment protects the publication of all statements, even false ones, about the conduct of public officials except when statements are made with actual malice (with knowledge that they are false or in reckless disregard of their truth or falsity).”

And I thought No Way Out was fiction.
Im gonna rewatch it this weekend just to see what is going to happen next.

  5. Ross says:

All through the election we had Podestra going on about the Russian links. We have an “explanation” for the Trump taps being they were monitoring a server that was linked to a Russian bank. BUT at the same time Podestra’s company was doing lobbying work for a Russian bank to help get the sanctions removed from Russia

Hypocrisy is not a strong enough word for it.

    • Gail Combs says:

It was a lobbying firm headed by John Podesta’s brother Tony. One was Hilderbeast campaign Manager and one was a lobbyist.

EXCLUSIVE: Dem Super-Lobbyist Podesta Got $170K to End US Sanctions On Russian Bank

Democrat super-lobbyist Tony Podesta was paid $170,000 over a six-month period last year to represent Sberbank, Russia’s largest bank, seeking to end one of the Obama administration’s economic sanctions against that country, The Daily Caller News Foundation’s Investigative Group has learned.

Podesta, founder and chairman of the Podesta Group, is listed as a key lobbyist on behalf of Sberbank, according to Senate lobbying disclosure forms. His firm received more than $24 million in fees in 2016, much of it coming from foreign governments, according to the nonpartisan Center for Responsive Politics.

Podesta is the brother of John Podesta, who was the national campaign chairman for former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton…

That’s not all: The busy Podesta Group also represented Uranium One, a uranium company acquired by the Russian government…

NYT Cash Flowed to Clinton Foundation Amid Russian Uranium Deal

…The headline on the website Pravda trumpeted President Vladimir V. Putin’s latest coup, its nationalistic fervor recalling an era when its precursor served as the official mouthpiece of the Kremlin: “Russian Nuclear Energy Conquers the World.”

The article, in January 2013, detailed how the Russian atomic energy agency, Rosatom, had taken over a Canadian company with uranium-mining stakes stretching from Central Asia to the American West. The deal made Rosatom one of the world’s largest uranium producers and brought Mr. Putin closer to his goal of controlling much of the global uranium supply chain.

But the untold story behind that story is one that involves not just the Russian president, but also a former American president and a woman who would like to be the next one….

  6. Gail Combs says:

Oh, and to add insult to injury…
Washington Post Hires Paid Mouthpiece of Dictators, John Podesta UNBIASED??? Of Course…… NOT.

“…Saudi Arabia has over 26 firms working for it, far more than any other country, including Russia….”

  7. Colorado Wellington says:

Meanwhile, across the pond, Germany’s new Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel (Social Democrats) held “good, constructive talks” with Lavrov and Putin in Moscow.

The German media like the news and there are no expectations that Germany’s intelligence services plan to leak the content of the talks.

Can you imagine what WaPo, NYT and CNN would do with a picture like this if it were Trump’s people?

  8. Squidly says:

The DNC was not “hacked”. The emails were leaked by Seth Rich from the inside, a DNC staffer who was subsequently murdered a few blocks from his apartment shortly thereafter. The Podesta emails were not “hacked”. Someone picked out Podesta’s password from an email that Podesta himself sent and contained his password. And that password was “password”.

Now, make no mistake, there are agencies (and people) all around the world that engage in real “hacking”, but the DNC and Podesta incidents are not examples of such. Hillary Clinton’s private server was certainly “hacked”, and hacked by just about every agency and skillful “hacker” on the planet. Those were real “hacks”, and I’m just waiting from one of the perps to finally begin releasing those emails.

    • Gail Combs says:

“Hacked” was only used so as not to ‘let the Crisis go to waste,’ to stir up anger against Russia, to smear Trump, and to divert attention (of the YSM anyway) from what was IN the data dump.

  9. Dear Coach
How do I get your great stuff over to my continentaldivide.us on Facebook….
