Any idea anyone if the hearing with lamar Smith is being streamed,? thanks

    • Rud Istvan says:

It was, unfortunately this morning EDT and now adjourned. The Curry and Christy written testimoney are must reads, available via Lamer Smith’s House Committee website or via links posted at Judith’s Climate Etc.
Best was when Mann in oral testimony denied calling Judith a denier. Rep. Smith promptly called Mann on it, because Mann also did so in his written tesrimony for this hearing. Not to bright, that Mann.

      • David A says:

Rud, do you know if ECS verses observation numbers are based on tropospheric warming, or the surface. I am thinking the lack of a hotspot and overall Tropspheric warming placed the models even further askew from projected warming.

Well , water vapor is climate gas
and a very strong one and there is much much more vapor than co2
and our planet is so full of condensated vapor that they call it the blue planet,
(but noone cares about runaway greenhouse effects nor try to tax people for this)
and co2 is a climate gas, thererfore a pollutant and not part of a circulation according to our climate gods
    so is vapor
    according to that logic.

therefore the green party is right as they know that sheeple don’t know that it is just vapor.
As green is also the color of the biggest liar of all =Prophet M.,
and his religion getting its but kissed by the green party((Halal Slaughter,Apartheid,Slavery,Hand/Foot/Headchopping,Mysogenia :)
    everything is fine.

    • Robertv says:

But the greenies hate religion and the religion of peace hates everybody.

    • Jason Calley says:

Water is the strongest GHG on the planet. The only possible solution to save the planet is to dump as much oil as possible into the ocean. The oil sheen will slow evaporation of the oceans and cut water vapor in the atmosphere.

      • SxyxS says:

        Jet noone is trying
to save us from billions of tons of water greenhouse gas.

Where are you- diCaprio,Obama,Sanders and all the other pathological good doers
to save us from this water vapor apocalypse???

I still wonder how they found that tiny tiny co2
while ignoring the massive vapor problem?
Maybe they used the same methodology they used
when they completely ignored the sun as the driver of climate in their climate modells-very scientific, indeed.

But i’m pretty sure as soon as they fail to introduce the co2 tax the water/sun-tax will appear as newest research result in the apocalyptic tax business.
While already written long time ago as plan b,waiting for decades in a rockefeller-safe to be released in case co2 tax fails.
(with(dramatic music)10 metres sea level rise and 20 degress warming and marxistic fingerprints all around.

  4. Andy DC says:

Evil towers that emit deadly gasses like water vapor and carbon dioxide must all be destroyed!

    • SxyxS says:

So you want to destroy all shishas?

Stoned Hippies will cry out in panic when hearing your plans
and committ suicide when they realise that they are responsible for global warming.

      Save planet earth,bann bongs now.

Nobody with an IQ over 80 would believe that picture depicts pollution; They are just pandering to their base.
The rest of us (and thanks Tony for representing) just point and laugh.

    • dave1billion says:

Unfortunately, I disagree. I’d guess that over 75% of the people out there think that those photos represent smoke.

One of the first things I always bring up when discussing AGW with people is the fact that they always show these pictures.

I’ll even look up one of those picture on my phone and show it to them. I ask them what they think cloud is and they always say smoke. Then I then breathe on a glass and show them the condensation and ask what that is. Then I ask why their breath is visible as a mist in cold weather. I then say that’s the same thing you see in the pictures.

From there, I ask them why the images of all those “steam clouds” are used so much, implying that the pollution emitted is actually so much worse. They can’t argue that it’s not misleading at best.

Then I ask them, “What else are they misleading you on?” “Why do they think that they have to rely on propaganda to exaggerate the problem and trigger an emotional response?”

If, on the off chance they want to argue that it’s actually smoke, I tell them that I used to work for an environmental regulating agency that would fine plants if there was actually smoke (or any persistent visual plume, which at it’s heart would have to be particulates) and ask what their credentials are.

For the people that don’t lose their minds to cognitive dissonance by the contradictions that I’ve introduced into their world view, this has been an effective tool for me to introduce doubt in the minds of casual believers.
