Global Cooling Causes Glaciers To Shrink

Glaciers shrunk thousands of feet in the late 19th century, as temperatures cooled towards NASA’s fake coldest years on record.

The famous glaciers of the Rhone have shrunk several thousand feet in the Inst 20 years; considerably more than 100 ft a year.  A number of the well-known glaciers are also shrinking at about the same rate, and the fact is established that these reminders of the great glacial period are certainly disappearing.

  1. Windsong says:

Roughly 16,000 years ago, ice over Puget Sound retreated at a very rapid clip. Perhaps as much as three feet/one meter per day during the warm days of summer. That is serious melting.

  2. Disillusioned says:

It’s too bad people didn’t know how to read mercury thermometers 100 years ago, and it’s a good thing that contemporary climate scientists have been able to correct the climate record since then.

  3. Gator says:

    Cold will cause shrinkage.
