Cue the “yeah, but” posts from global governance chorus of natural climate deniers…

  2. Dave N says:

Alarmists will just declare that the increased snow is due to CAGW.

Alternatively, the NYT will just do their regular thing and start when the data suits them and proclaim that it’s “declining”, e.g. 2014 for Fall extent and 2010 for Winter.

    “Problem” solved.

Or they will cue up the “warming hole” again:

The bizarre ‘warming hole’ that defies climate change in the US by causing some areas to get COLDER instead of hotter.

      * Readers here should take this seriously. Two years ago I heard a “warming hole” was coming to my area and planned a day at the beach only to have my blanket, umbrella and beer cooler buried in snow. People who don’t realize that “warming hole” actually means freezing conditions are on the way and should not be caught unaware. (I think this was covered in one of Tony’s videos as the symptoms of these things are identical.)

Yes, not much talk lately about the doomed ski industry. Meanwhile, the Sierra have picked up a lot of snow recently and the Alps in Europe are doing great as well.

But the alarmists will deny they ever said skiing was doomed because they now realize that hot air can hold more moisture than cold air. Just the same way they deny the Ice Age scare of the 1970’s and the Middle Ages warm period. After all, the climate was always benign and perfect during the last 11,000 years. Even the Dust Bowl was not caused by bad weather, it was entirely the result of paternalistic, angry straight white males raping the soil with their plows.
