In other words…..their temperature record has never been right….they have to keep making it right
They have to keep increasing the fudge until they are screaming record highs as the next glaciation hits.
There are about 55 million square miles on the planet. Spend this year’s US budget on 22,000,000 – $1,000 self contained wheather stations (solar power of coarse) and cover the planet with data gear every 2 miles. Push record button, see what it says. Lets reconvene in 20 years. Save the $22b for 19 years and, if warmy is right, we can all get a government issue bicycle with the money we saved.
Didn’t Phil Jones in the CRU emails say something like (I paraphrase)…
“…Soon we will have Hadcrut V4!….”
This was in reply to something about surface temps stalling? Does anyone have the email?
If the data does not fit your theory, adjust the data.
There is a limit to the adjustments. The satellites are watching. 🙂
If there is they haven’t reached it yet.
From the looks of it the adjustments are automatically done, each month or so and are cumulative…so they are adjusting past adjustments that adjusted automatically adjusted adjusted data.
And they want to turn over more control to AI…
UKMO people regularly appear on the sceptic blogs trying to prove that they are nice people. They get really upset when you tel them they are assoles
The past is cooling faster than we thought!
Yeah, at this rate, in a short time there won’t be anything ‘little’ about the LIA…
We all know from the movies about time traveling that every small change in the past can have huge effects in the present.

At least HADCRUT has distinct versions that can be compared. The NASA GISTEMP figures are updated on an ad hoc basis, which makes it very difficult to track which version is being used. In a 2011 version of GISTEMP I noticed that the warming rate from 1998 to 2010 was slightly higher than the 1976-1998 rate. In HADCRUT3 the later period had less than one seventh of the warming rate of the earlier. By 2014 GISTEMP was much more in line with HADCRUT4.

Sea level is just as bad.
