It is the corkscrew of death.
A little general note here. In a moment of loss of lucidity, I purchased a copy of Discovery Magazine’s 100 top science stories of 2014. Number 1 was Ebola: so far so good. The second, so help me, was “Climate in Crisis,” parroting the usual scare memes and jockeying around with the facts. (I know, I know, buying Discover and all.)
Their eighth story was the year of fraud in science. They coulda combined the two IMO.
I see magazines like that all the time and would flick through them, I just cant bring myself to support a glossy wold view from political hacks and their version of science.. I enjoy science! and I’m a happy qualified person.. I don’t need preachers in my life.
It’s going to take more of an uptick than that to force crow down the throats of the people/groups that have drank the koolade. I wonder which flavour of koolade goes best with crow?
Gyromitrin flavored….
Had to look that up….nasty.
It was only a mostly death spiral…it got better.

That figure looks kinda familiar. We need to get rid of the 2008 jump in ice and then we can have a nice and clear Hockey Stick.
That hockey stick’s gonna be a problem in the Arctic… no tree rings to play with.
