1974 New York Times : Global Cooling Induced Climate Change To Kill Us All
This entry was posted in Uncategorized. Bookmark the permalink.
This exposes the true consensus :
97% of climate scientists have been pooping their pants about the weather since 1974.
Yes, because they are so full of it, it just leaks out and ends up there…
Why?
Reblogged this on Climatism.
The problem is not the weather or climate. The problem is climate scientists seeking to make headlines. On balance, we would probably all be better off without them.
“Climate change” -The new ice age, global warming, etc.- is not science, it is religion.
A shame it isn’t being recognized as such.
It’s actually closer to religion than is Islam.
It has been said that Islam is not a religion — it is a religion PLUS a form of government. Unfortunately, I believe that the same can be said about the CAGW cult.
I remember seeing a similar article about the same time saying that the climate variations would get worse if the cutting of tropical rain forests wasn’t slowed down. At the time it was something like a million acres a week (or was that a day – don’t remember). At any rate they couldn’t take into account the weather manipulation by high altitude chemical spraying or the effect of the increase in volcanic emissions. What ever will come, we’re in for a rough ride.
Back in the 70s they feared global cooling and I remember how cold the Midwest winters were at the time. They were especially harsh. Then it became global warming and now it’s the all encompassing “climate change” where you are correct no matter what the weather is.
Just shows that “climate change” has been around for centuries, if not millions of years. Al Gore and his goons latched onto it to try to ransom money from idiots thinking he’ll save the world.
When every outcome confirms your hypothesis, then you are dealing with religion and not science.
It’s a pretty safe bet that we know more now than we did in 1974. This might be interesting to trivia fans, but I wouldn’t bet my kid’s life on it.
It is pretty safe bet that your kids depend on fossil fuels for their survival.
A lot of people think that eggs come from grocery stores, not chickens. The also think that Milk comes from cartons, not cows. Is it any wonder that the think that electricity comes from wall sockets? I honestly think that when they speak about ending use of fossil fuels, they have no conception — no idea at all! — that they are advocating the end of essentially every convenience in their lives.
Least likely scenario: everything stays the same.
